SILICA MICROCAPSULES AND METHODS OF PREPARING SAME
Disclosed is a microcapsule containing: (i) a microcapsule core having an active material, and (ii) a microcapsule wall formed of a first polymer and second polymer. The first polymer is a sol-gel polymer. The second polymer is gum arabic, purity gum ultra, gelatin, chitosan, xanthan gum, plant gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl guar gum, or a combination thereof. The weight ratio between the first and second polymer is 1:10 to 10:1. Also disclosed are processes for preparing the microcapsule and uses of the microcapsules in consumer products.
DIFFUSER OF VOLATILE SUBSTANCES BY COMBUSTION
The diffuser of volatile substances by combustion comprises a body (1) that includes said volatile substances, wherein said body is formed from microcapsules (2) that house said volatile substances. Preferably, each microcapsule (2) comprises an outer shell that houses the volatile substances therein. It makes it possible to provide a diffuser of volatile substances by combustion wherein the evaporation of the volatile substances is reduced or fully prevented during the drying in the manufacturing process thereof.

The present invention provides a method for preparing a uniform-sized core-shell foaming agent includes: providing a SPG membrane having a pore size ranging approximately from 0.5 to 50 μm; preparing a dispersed phase liquid including at least one shell material, at least one initiator, at least one cross-linker and at least one blowing agent; preparing a continuous phase liquid including at least one solvent, at least one salt, and at least one stabilizer; delivering a first pressurized gas to dispense the dispersed phase liquid to the continuous phase liquid through the SPG membrane; stirring until the uniform-sized emulsion being homogenous; initiating the polymerization of the uniform-sized emulsion to form microspheres; drying the microspheres to form the uniform-sized core shell foaming agent.
Size-varying bubble complex and method of preparing the same
Proposed is to provide a size-varying bubble complex and a method of preparing the same. More specifically, the size-varying bubble complex and the method of preparing the same are proposed, wherein the bubble complex is capable of being repeatedly varied in size by changing phases of perfluorocarbon by external stimuli, by including a shell that encapsulates a core made of the perfluorocarbon and protects the core by expanding and contracting together when the core expands and contracts.
Stabilized capsule compositions
A capsule composition containing a capsule and a stabilizing agent. The capsule has an oil core containing an active material and a capsule wall encapsulating the oil core. The active material is a fragrance, a flavor, a malodor counteractant, or a combination thereof. The wall is formed of polyurea or polyurethane. The capsule composition has 20 ppm or greater of the stabilizing agent, which is a multi-functional amine, an amino acid, a polymer mixture, or a combination thereof. Also disclosed is a consumer product containing this capsule composition.

What are proposed are microcapsules comprising (a) a core comprising at least one active, and (b) a capsule wall,
wherein the capsule wall consists of at least three polymer layers and at least one of the polymer layers consists of a first phenolic resin, wherein the first phenolic resin comprises 3% to 50% by weight of moieties that derive from at least one aromatic polyol, and at least one further polymer layer consists of a second phenolic resin, wherein the second phenolic resin comprises 3% to 50% by weight of moieties that derive from at least one triphenol.
GUAR GUM MICROCAPSULES
Disclosed are microcapsule compositions having a microcapsule that contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule shell encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule has a particle size of 1 micron to 100 microns in diameter. The microcapsule core contains an active material. The microcapsule shell is formed of at least three moieties, in which a first moiety is derived from a polygalactomannan, a second moiety is derived from a polyisocyanate, and a third moiety is derived from a multi-functional aldehyde or a tannic acid.

SORBENT COMPOSITION FOR PRE-ANALYTICAL TREATMENT OF SAMPLES
A method for pre-analytical treatment of a serum or plasma sample from a patient suspected of suffering from oxidative stress, which includes contacting the sample with one or more microcapsules having a gelled alginate core and a semipermeable coating, where the alginate core includes dispersed receptors against an oxidised human parathyroid hormone (PTH) peptide. The semipermeable membrane can be obtained by layer-by-layer deposition of polycationic and polyanionic macromolecules onto the gelled core, following by hardening, crosslinking and co-acervation of the macroionic phases.
