Techniques for concealed vehicle reset
Embodiments disclosed herein include an amusement park ride. The amusement park ride include a ride vehicle that can transition from a first configuration to a second configuration during the duration of the ride. The amusement park ride can include a loading area for loading passengers into the ride vehicle and a separate unloading area for disembarking passengers from the ride vehicle. After disembarking passengers from the ride vehicle the ride vehicle travels to a transition area concealed from the public where the ride transitions from the second configuration to the first configuration. In the transition area, maintenance can be performed on the ride vehicle and calibration can be performed on one or more of the ride vehicle systems (e.g., projector or audio systems).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANEUVERING A VEHICLE
An amusement park ride vehicle includes a chassis, a cabin, a slider, and a rotator. The chassis is configured to direct the ride vehicle along a ride path in a direction of travel. The cabin is configured to hold one or more passengers. The slider is configured to translate between a neutral position and a cantilevered position relative to the chassis in a direction substantially transverse to the direction of travel and to carry the rotator and the cabin along the direction substantially transverse to the direction of travel. The rotator is coupled between the slider and the cabin, and is configured to rotate the cabin relative to the slider.
HYBRID RIDE VEHICLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An amusement park system in accordance with present embodiments includes a ride vehicle configured to move along a path, an aquatic portion of the path defined by a water flow path, and an aerial portion of the path defined by a track configured to support a bogie. The ride vehicle is configured to freely float and move along the water flow path in response to currents of the water flow path. The ride vehicle is configured to be carried along the track by the bogie.
Methods for dynamic show-length variation
Methods for dynamic show-length variation are disclosed herein. Such methods can include: a track extending from a starting position to a termination position; a first simulation vehicle that can move along the track from the starting position to the termination position; and a content presentation feature. Such methods can further include a processor. The processor can: determine a departure of the simulation vehicle from the starting position; provide content having a beginning, an end, and a plurality of scenes to the content presentation feature while the simulation vehicle is en route between the starting position and the termination position; and customize the length of the provided content so the content reaches the end as the simulation vehicle reaches the termination position.
RIDE WITH ROTATING LIFT
A method of transporting a ride vehicle in an amusement park ride includes moving the ride vehicle vertically along a frame to a height using a motion base lift assembly, rotating, using a base, the ride vehicle around an attraction tower, in which the attraction tower comprising a plurality of rooms and the base is configured to rotate about the attraction tower and is attached to the frame. The method also includes extending the ride vehicle into a room of the plurality of rooms via the motion base lift assembly.

System and methods for kinetic rotation of a ride vehicle
A ride system in accordance with present embodiments includes a flume providing a flow path and one or more vehicles configured to accommodate one or more passengers and configured to move along the flow path in the flume. The ride system also includes one or more objects protruding into the flow path, wherein the one or more objects are positioned in the flow path such that the one or more objects are configured to contact a vehicle of the one or more vehicles as the vehicle moves along the flow path and at a contact location on an exterior of the vehicle, wherein the contact location is spaced apart a distance from a center of mass of the vehicle to change a direction or orientation of the vehicle after the one or more objects contact the vehicle at the contact location.

Ride with rotating lift
A ride system for an amusement park includes a plurality of rooms stacked atop one another and a ride vehicle. A method to transport the ride vehicle from a first room to a second room includes withdrawing the ride vehicle from the first room, changing the vertical height of the ride vehicle, rotating the ride vehicle, and inserting the ride vehicle into the second room.
