The reverse water-gas shift catalyst is obtained by at least supporting one or both of nickel and iron as a catalytically active component on a carrier containing a ceria-based metal oxide or a zirconia-based metal oxide as a main component, and a ratio of the carrier to the entire catalyst is 55% by weight or more.

The present disclosure relates to a catalyst composition comprising: (a) nickel; (b) at least one promoter selected from Cu Zn, Mo, Co, Mg, Ce, Ti, Zr, Fe, Pd, Ag, Pt, or combinations thereof; and (c) a support material, wherein, the nickel loading is in the range of 6-19 wt % and the at least one promoter loading is in the range of 0.2-5 wt % with respect to the support material. The present disclosure further discloses a process for preparing a catalyst composition and a process each for the production of hydrogen gas and carbon nanotubes. Also disclosed herein, is use of a catalyst composition for obtaining hydrogen gas and carbon nanotubes.

CATALYST FOR CO2 METHANATION REACTION HAVING HIGH ACTIVITY AND LONG TERM STABILITY AND PROCESS THEREOF

The present invention relates to a novel heterogeneous catalyst for selective carbon dioxide methanation reaction having high activity and long-term stability, wherein the catalyst comprising of at least one alkali promoter metal, active metals selected from Nickel and Iron and a stable support for active metals having combination of CeO.sub.2 \-γAl.sub.2O.sub.3.Further, the present invention provides a process for synthesis of said catalyst. Secondly, the present invention also provides a sustainable process for synthesis of methane using said novel heterogenous catalyst. The benefits of present invention are that it provides a sustainable CO.sub.2 methanation process as the novel outstanding catalyst having high performance and long-term stability and totally eliminates catalyst regeneration or reloading step due to its very long-term stability for > 1000 h.

OXIDE-SUPPORTED COBALT CATALYST CAPABLE OF ACCELERATING REDUCTIVE AMINATION

In order to enable a reductive amination reaction at a low temperature and a low hydrogen pressure, provided is a catalyst comprising cobalt supported on an oxide, the catalyst produced by a method comprising the following steps (1) to (4): (1) a step of mixing a salt containing a cobalt ion and an oxide in water, (2) a step of distilling water away from a mixed solution obtained in step (1) and drying a resulting solid material, (3) a step of calcining a dried material obtained in step (2) in a nitrogen stream, and (4) a step of reducing a calcined product obtained in step (3) in a hydrogen stream.

The porous alumina can include silica and barium oxide added to aluminum oxide, wherein a ratio of SiO2 addition amount to a total mass of aluminum oxide and SiO2 addition amount is defined as SiO2 addition ratio (mass %), a ratio of BaO addition amount to a total mass of aluminum oxide and SiO2 addition amount is defined as BaO addition ratio (mass %), when the SiO2 addition ratio is within a range of 3 mass % or less and the BaO addition ratio is within a range of 14 mass % or less, the silica and the barium oxide are respectively added to the aluminum oxide so that a specific surface area of the porous alumina measured by a measuring method after heat treatment is equal to or larger than a reference specific surface area of reference porous alumina.
