According to one or more embodiments described, a zeolite supported catalyst may be synthesized by a process that includes combining a colloidal mixture with a metal oxide support material to form a support precursor material, processing the support precursor material to form a support material, and impregnating the support material with one or more metals to form the zeolite supported catalyst. The colloidal mixture may include nano-sized zeolite crystals, and the nano-sized zeolite crystals may have an average size of less than 100 nm.

Metal-Loaded Zeolite Catalysts for the Halogen-Free Conversion of Dimethyl Ether to Methyl Acetate

A catalyst for the carbonylation of dimethyl ether to methyl acetate. The catalyst comprises a zeolite, such as a mordenite zeolite, at least one Group IB metal, such as copper, and/or at least one Group VIII metal, such as iron, and at least one Group IIB metal, such as zinc. Such a catalyst with combined metals provides enhanced catalytic activity, improved stability, and improved selectivity to methyl acetate, and does not require a halogen promoter, as compared to a metal-free or copper only zeolite.

High charge density metallophosphate molecular sieves

A family of highly charged crystalline microporous metallophosphate molecular sieves designated PST-17 has been synthesized. These metallophosphates are represented by the empirical formula of:

where A is an alkali metal such as potassium, R is a quaternary ammonium cation such as ethyltrimethylammonium, M is a divalent metal such as zinc and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. The PST-17 family of molecular sieves are stabilized by combinations of alkali and organoammonium cations, enabling unique metalloalumino(gallo)phosphate compositions and exhibit the BPH topology. The PST-17 family of molecular sieves has catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separation properties for separating at least one component.

By using the composite catalyst, a lower olefin can be continuously produced over a long period of time.

The present disclosure provides a sound absorbing material. The sound absorbing material comprises MFI-structural-type zeolite. The MFI-structural-type zeolite comprises a framework, and the framework comprises SiO.sub.2 and AlO.sub.3, and the mass ratio of Si to Al in the framework is less than 200 and not less than 50. The present disclosure also provides a speaker box applying the sound absorbing material. The sound absorbing material provided by the present disclosure and the speaker box using the sound absorbing material can further improve the performance of the speaker box, reduce the failure of zeolite and improve the performance stability of the speaker box.
