CATALYST COMPOSITION COMPRISING MODIFIED CRYSTALLINE ALUMINOSILICATE FOR DEHYDRATION OF ALCOHOLS
Process for preparing a catalyst composition containing a modified crystalline aluminosilicate and a binder, wherein the catalyst composition comprises from 5 to 95% by weight of crystalline aluminosilicate as based on the total weight of the catalyst composition, the process being remarkable in that it comprises a step of steaming said crystalline aluminosilicate: at a temperature ranging from 100° C. to 380° C.; under a gas phase atmosphere containing from 5 wt % to 100 wt % of steam; at a pressure ranging from 2 to 200 bars; at a partial pressure of H.sub.2O ranging from 2 to 200 bars; and said steaming being performed during at least 30 min and up to 144 h;
and in that the process also comprises a step of shaping, or of extruding, the crystalline aluminosilicate with a binder, wherein the binder is selected to comprise at least 85 wt % of silica as based on the total weight of the binder, and less than 1000 ppm by weight as based on the total weight of the binder of aluminium, gallium, boron, iron and/or chromium.
METHOD FOR PREPARING ACRYLIC ACID AND METHYL ACRYLATE
The present invention provides a method for preparing acrylic acid and methyl acrylate. The method comprises passing the feed gas containing dimethoxymethane and carbon monoxide through a solid acid catalyst to generate acrylic acid and methyl acrylate with a high conversion rate and selectivity at a reaction temperature in a range from 180 to 400 and a reaction pressure in a range from 0.1 MPa to 15.0 MPa, the mass space velocity of dimethoxymethane in the feed gas is in a range from 0.05 h.sup.−1 to 10.0 h.sup.−1, and the volume percentage of dimethoxymethane in the feed gas is in a range from 0.1% to 95%.
METHOD FOR PREPARING ACRYLIC ACID AND METHYL ACRYLATE
The present invention provides a method for preparing acrylic acid and methyl acrylate. The method comprises passing the feed gas containing dimethoxymethane and carbon monoxide through a solid acid catalyst to generate acrylic acid and methyl acrylate with a high conversion rate and selectivity at a reaction temperature in a range from 180 to 400 and a reaction pressure in a range from 0.1 MPa to 15.0 MPa, the mass space velocity of dimethoxymethane in the feed gas is in a range from 0.05 h.sup.−1 to 10.0 h.sup.−1, and the volume percentage of dimethoxymethane in the feed gas is in a range from 0.1% to 95%.
MIXED ZEOLITE-CONTAINING SCR CATALYST
The present disclosure generally provides selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst compositions, catalyst articles and catalyst systems including such catalyst articles for treating engine exhaust gas. In particular, the SCR catalyst composition includes a first zeolite and a second zeolite and has not been subjected to temperatures above 650° C. The first zeolite includes a promoter metal and has a first framework structure and at least a portion of the second zeolite is in a form selected from H.sup.+ form, NH.sub.4.sup.+ form, alkali metal form, alkaline earth metal form, and combinations thereof and has a second framework structure. The first framework structure and the second framework structure are different.

The present invention addresses the problem and purpose of providing a honeycomb structure that has a sufficiently high strength and is excellent in endurance, and a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas using the same that is excellent in resistance to sulfur oxide (SOX). The honeycomb structure of the present invention is one consists of a flat inorganic fiber sheet comprising an inorganic fiber sheet having supported thereon an inorganic binder and zeolite, and a corrugated inorganic fiber sheet comprising an inorganic fiber sheet having supported thereon the same inorganic binder and zeolite, which are alternately combined with each other, wherein it is characterized in that the zeolite has a particle diameter (i.e., a median particle diameter, D50) of from 0.5 to 10.0 m.
