Catalytic cracking catalyst having a higher selectivity, processing method and use thereof
The present invention provides a catalytic cracking catalyst, processing method and use thereof. When the catalyst is added into a commercial catalytic cracking unit, it has an initial activity of not higher than 80, preferably not higher than 75, more preferably not higher than 70, a self-balancing time of 0.1-50 h, and an equilibrium activity of 35-60. Said method enables the activity and selectivity of the catalyst in the catalytic cracking unit to be more homogeneous and notably improves the selectivity of the catalytic cracking catalyst, so as to obviously reduce the dry gas and coke yields, to sufficiently use steam and to reduce the energy consumption of the FCC unit.

A method for producing propylene, the method contains: producing a silica composite by preparing a raw material mixture containing silica and zeolite; drying the raw material mixture to obtain a dried product; and calcining the dried product; wherein the method contains the step of bringing a solution of phosphate into contact with the zeolite and/or the dried product to thereby adjust a phosphorus content in the silica composite to 0.01 to 1.0% by mass based on the total mass of the silica composite, a source of the phosphorus is phosphate, and the zeolite is of MFI type and has a SiO.sub.2/Al.sub.2O.sub.3 ratio (by mol) of 20 or more; and bringing the silica composite into contact with a hydrocarbon source containing at least one component selected from the group consisting of ethylene, ethanol, methanol, and dimethyl ether in the presence of steam.

The FCC catalyst additive composition of the present invention is a LPG selective catalyst particles comprising a medium pore zeolite bonded with clay-phosphate-silica-alumina binder. The catalyst of the present invention exhibits improved selectivity towards high value components like propylene and gasoline and suppressing low value components like dry gas and bottoms.

Promoted, attrition resistant, silica supported precipitated iron catalyst
A structurally promoted precipitated catalyst containing crystalline silica, at least one chemical promoter selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, and iron, the structurally promoted precipitated catalyst comprising maghemite and hematite catalytic phases, and exhibiting a main reduction peak temperature, as determined by TPR, in the range of from about 210 C. to about 350 C. A method of producing the structurally promoted precipitated catalyst is also provided.
Mixed metal oxide catalysts
Catalytic compositions are provided that are effective for providing increased acrylonitrile product without a significant decrease in hydrogen cyanide and/or acetonitrile production and provide an overall increase in production of acrylonitrile, hydrogen cyanide and acetonitrile. The catalytic compositions include a complex of metal oxides and include at least about 15% m-phase plus t-phase by weight and have a weight ratio of m-phase to m-phase plus t-phase of 0.45 or greater.
Catalysts
A method of preparing a modified catalyst support comprises contacting a catalyst support material with a modifying component precursor in an impregnating liquid medium. The impregnating liquid medium comprises a mixture of water and an organic liquid solvent for the modifying component precursor. The mixture contains less than 17% by volume water based on the total volume of the impregnating liquid medium. The modifying component precursor comprises a compound of a modifying component selected from the group consisting of Si, Zr, Co, Ti, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ba, Ni, Al, Fe, V, Hf, Th, Ce, Ta, W, La and mixtures of two or more thereof. A modifying component containing catalyst support material is thus obtained. Optionally, the modifying component containing catalyst support material is calcined at a temperature above 100 C. to obtain a modified catalyst support.
METHOD FOR PREPARING CATALYST USED FOR PREPARING CHLORINE, CATALYST AND METHOD FOR PREPARING CHLORINE
The present invention relates to a method for preparing catalyst used for preparing chlorine by oxidizing hydrogen chloride. The method is mixing a slurry mainly containing boron and chromium with a slurry mainly containing copper, boron, alkali-metal elements, rare-earth elements, aluminum sol, silica sol, carrier and optionally other metal elements, the mixing temperature being not more than 100 C., and the residence time being not more than 120 minutes, the mixed slurry is successively treated with spray drying, high temperature calcination, so that the catalyst is obtained. The present invention also relates to the catalyst prepared through the method, use of the catalyst used in the process of preparing chlorine by oxidizing hydrogen chloride and a method for preparing chlorine by using the catalyst. The catalyst is used for preparing chlorine by oxidizing hydrogen chloride with oxygen or air in fluidized bed reactor.

Process for the preparation of a catalyst comprising the steps of (a) preparing a slurry comprising clay, zeolite, and quasi-crystalline boehmite, provided that the slurry does not comprise peptized quasi-crystalline boehmite, (b) adding a monovalent acid to the slurry, (c) adding a silicon source to the slurry, and (d) shaping the slurry to form particles. This process leads to a catalyst with high accessibility and high attrition resistance.
