INTEGRATED FILTER MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF

An integrated filter material, a preparation method and an application. The filter material is composed of a commercial dust removal filter material and a catalyst that is grown on the filter material and that has a function of simultaneously decomposing nitrogen oxides and dioxins. In the preparation method, a precursor solution of manganese and cerium oxides is impregnated on the filter material, and manganese and cerium oxides are grown on the filter material by means of a chemical reaction; and vanadium oxychloride is used as a precursor of vanadium oxide and is impregnated on the filter material, reacts in water, and prepared by drying, hydrothermal and other processes. The composite filter material may remove three kinds of pollutants in flue gas at the same time, and the catalyst is firmly loaded and does not easily fall off.

Method of preparing wide-temperature catalyst for preferential oxidation of carbon monoxide in hydrogen-enriched atmosphere, and product and use lthereof

This invention provides a preparation method of a catalyst for preferential oxidization of CO in a hydrogen-enriched atmosphere, and a catalyst product obtained from the method and its applications thereof. Particularly, in this invention, a wide-temperature catalyst for preferential oxidization of CO in a hydrogen-enriched atmosphere is obtained by depositing one or more of an iron oxide, cobalt oxide, and nickel oxide as a promoter onto the surface of a supported Pt-group noble metal catalyst precursor via chemical vapor deposition or atomic layer deposition. In the wide-temperature catalyst, the active noble metal component has a content of 0.1 to 10 wt %, and the promoter has a content of 0.1 to 10 wt % in terms of the metal element thereof. In the reaction of preferential oxidation of CO in a hydrogen-enriched atmosphere, the catalyst prepared by this invention can exhibit excellent catalytic performance and can achieve high conversion of CO with high selectivity in a wide temperature range of −80 to 200° C., for example. Also, the catalyst can remain stable for a long time even in a case where steam and CO.sub.2 are present in the hydrogen-enriched atmosphere.

Kirigami derived metal catalysts

A high surface area to mass catalyst is formed by a method that includes a Kirigami mapped cutting of a flat three metal laminate composite formed on a deposition support. Kirigami derived catalyst has a shape that provides a high surface to mass ratio and promotes the flow of a fluid containing a reagent for a reaction catalyzed by the exterior metal catalyst films of the three metal laminate composite. Structural integrity of the Kirigami derived catalyst results from a support metal film residing between two metal catalyst films. The shaping to the Kirigami derived structure involves cutting the flat three metal laminate composite to that of a Kirigami map, imposing stress on the cut structure to force a non-planar deformation, and delaminating the Kirigami derived catalyst from the deposition support.
