Flameless Combustion Burner For An Endothermic Reaction Process
The present invention relates to a combustion heater (100) for providing controlled heat (H) to an endothermic reaction process. The combustion heater comprises an integrated burner (20) to yield a hot burner exhaust gas (35) flow from burning a first fuel. The burner exhaust gas mixed with oxidant flows to a flue gas outlet along a flue gas flow path (FGP). Provided to the combustion chamber at a position outside a direct reach of flames from the burner is a secondary fuel conduit (30) with a plurality of nozzles (31) from which a second fuel (32) is transferred into a flow along the said flue gas flow path (FGP). The resulting combustion of the second fuel can be used to provide controlled heat to the to endothermic reaction operated in a reaction conduit (40) that is in thermal heat exchange with the combustion chamber.
Hydroprocess integrating oxidized disulfide oil compounds
Oxidized disulfide oil (ODSO) compounds or ODSO compounds and disulfide oil (DSO) compounds are reacted with a hydrogen addition feed in a hydroprocessing complex. The hydrogen addition process can include naphtha hydrotreatment, middle distillate hydrotreatment, vacuum gas oil hydrocracking, and vacuum gas oil hydrotreatment. The ODSO or ODSO and DSO components are converted to hydrogen sulfide, water and alkanes.
PROCESS AND REACTOR FOR PRODUCING PHOSGENE
The invention relates to a process for producing phosgene by gas phase reaction of carbon monoxide and chlorine in the presence of a catalyst in a reactor that comprises a plurality of contact tubes arranged parallel to one another, which contact tubes are filled with the catalyst and around which at least one fluid heat transfer medium flows, a feed stream of a mixture of a chlorine input stream and a carbon monoxide input stream being conducted into the contact tubes and reacted to form a phosgene-containing product gas mixture, characterised in that the product gas mixture is discharged from the contact tubes at an outlet end of the contact tubes. The method according to the invention is characterised in that the gas phase reaction is carried out in the reactor such that the position of the highest temperature in a contact tube (hot spot) moves along the longitudinal axis of the contact tube at a predetermined rate of migration, the hot spot having a rate of migration in the longitudinal direction of the contact tubes which is in the range of 1 to 50 mm per day. The invention also relates to a reactor for carrying out the process.
STEAM GENERATION IN OXIDATIVE DEHYDROGENATION
A system and method for oxidative dehydrogenation including a first reactor having a first ODH catalyst to dehydrogenate an alkane to a corresponding alkene at a first temperature and facilitate generation of steam, a second reactor having a second ODH catalyst to dehydrogenate alkane in a first-reactor effluent to the corresponding alkene at a second temperature that may be greater than the first temperature and facilitate generation of steam, and a third reactor having a third ODH catalyst to dehydrogenate alkane in a second-reactor effluent to the corresponding alkene at a third temperature that may be greater than the first temperature or the second temperature and facilitate generation of steam.
Method of preheating dehydrogenation reactor feed
Methods and systems for heating a reactor feed in a multi reactor hydrocarbon dehydrogenation process. The methods and systems are advantageously employed for the production of styrene by the catalytic dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene. The catalytic dehydrogenation process employs heating steam operating at a steam to oil ratio of about 1.0 or less and relatively low steam superheater furnace temperature, such that all components exposed to steam in the process (outside of the fired heaters) can be constructed with standard metallurgy.
Device and process for producing undecylenic acid methyl ester using methyl ricinoleate as raw material
A device and a process for producing undecylenic acid methyl ester using methyl ricinoleate as raw material are provided. The device comprises a feed pump, a raw material pre-heater, a microwave catalytic reactor, a microwave generator, a temperature controller and an infrared sensor, a condenser, a product tank and a discharge pump. The feed pump is connected with the raw material pre-heater, which is connected with the inlet of the microwave catalytic reactor. The outlet of the microwave catalytic reactor is connected with the condenser, which is connected to the product tank and the discharge pump. The microwave catalytic reactor is located in the microwave generator, which is connected with the temperature controller and the infrared sensor. The process is as follows: high-purity methyl ricinoleate, used as the raw material, is converted to methyl undecene and heptaldehyde by microwave-assisted pyrolysis process, followed by isolation and purification to produce methyl undecene.
Fuel cell module
A fuel cell module includes a first area where an exhaust gas combustor and a start-up combustor are provided, an annular second area around the first area and where a reformer and an evaporator are provided, an annular third area around the second area and where a heat exchanger is provided, and an annular heat recovery area around the third area as a passage of oxygen-containing gas for recovery of heat radiated from the third area toward the outer circumference.
Method, Apparatus, and System for Producing Silicon-Containing Product by Utilizing Silicon Mud Byproduct of Cutting Silicon Material with Diamond Wire
The present application provides a method, a equipment and a system for producing a silicon-containing products by using a silicon sludge which is produced by a diamond wire cutting silicon material. The method of the present application mainly utilizes a high oxide layer on the surface of a silicon waste particle produced during diamond wire cutting. The characteristics are such that the surface oxide disproportionates with adjacent internal elemental silicon to form silicon monoxide to be removed in a vapor to achieve a physical chemical reaction with a metal, a halogen gas, a hydrogen halide gas or hydrogen to form a high value-added silicon-containing products. The process realizes the large-scale, high-efficiency, energy-saving, continuous and low-cost complete recycling of diamond-wire cutting silicon waste.
