WASHING PROCESS
A process for washing a particulate substance comprising: (i) combining a particulate substance and a first washing medium in a first vessel to form a slurry and washing the particulate substance with said washing medium; (ii) transferring the slurry to a hydrocyclone; (iii) removing a first by-product stream depleted in particulate substance and a first product stream enriched in particulate substance from the hydrocyclone; (iv) transferring the first product stream to a second vessel and in the presence of a second washing medium forming a slurry and washing the particulate substance with said second washing medium e.g. by agitation thereof; (v) transferring the slurry to a hydrocyclone; (vi) removing a second by-product stream depleted in particulate substance and a second product stream enriched in particulate substance from the hydrocyclone.
Removing and cleaning dehydrogenation catalysts
Oxidative dehydrogenation catalysts including mixed oxides of Mo, V, Nb, Te, and optionally a promoter may be dissolved in aqueous solutions of oxalic acid. This permits the removal of catalyst and catalyst residues from reactors for the oxidative dehydrogenation of paraffins and particularly ethane.

SLURRY STORAGE DEVICE, SLURRY PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND SLURRY STORAGE METHOD
A slurry storage device that stores an aqueous slurry containing a high nickel material prepared by a dispersion device which mixes a powder and a solvent, the device includes a holding unit that holds the aqueous slurry, and a pH value rise suppressing unit that suppresses a rise in a pH value of the aqueous slurry.
Slurry phase reactor with internal vapor-liquid separator
A system for processing a hydrocarbon feed has a final stage reactor and internal separator that forms a substantially gas stream and a substantially non-gas stream. The substantially gas stream is sent directly from the final stage reactor to a separator or for other processing.
FLUID DELIVERY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING FLUID DELIVERY APPARATUS
A fluid delivery apparatus to deliver a slurry liquid to be brought into contact with exhaust gas discharged from a combustion device to a plurality of delivery destinations comprises: a first delivery line for delivering the slurry liquid from a delivery source to a first delivery destination; a return line, branching off from the first delivery line at a first bifurcation part, for returning the slurry liquid to the delivery source; a second delivery line, branching off from the return line at a second bifurcation part, for delivering the slurry liquid to a second delivery destination different from the first delivery destination; and a delivery destination switching device configured to able to switch a delivery destination of the slurry liquid flowing on an upstream side of the second bifurcation part in the return line to a downstream side of the second bifurcation part in the return line.
Continuous feeding process and device for waste flexible polymer material
A continuous feeding process and device for waste flexible polymer material; wherein the process continuously feeds waste flexible polymer material into a subsequent pyrolysis apparatus following compression, cutting and dispersion; the waste flexible polymer material is pre-treated during compression, cutting and dispersion to achieve continuous sealing feeding, while pyrolysis oil gas preheats and self-lubricates the device; the device used includes a feeding apparatus, a material dispersion apparatus and a screw feeder; the material is compressed, cut and dispersed in the feeding apparatus and the material dispersion apparatus, and then falls into the screw feeder, being preheated and thermally sealed by the pyrolysis oil-gas in the screw feeder; by using such a process, waste flexible polymer material from various sources may be continuously fed for pyrolysis, fully using the temperature of an oil-gas generated in a pyrolysis machine for preheating and device lubrication.
Use of turbidimeter for measurement of solid catalyst system component in a reactor feed
A method of monitoring a solid component of a reactor feed stream in a polymer production system, comprising (a) measuring a turbidity of the reactor feed stream, wherein the reactor feed stream comprises a solid component of a polymerization catalyst system, and (b) translating the turbidity of the reactor feed stream into a concentration of the solid component in the reactor feed stream. A method of monitoring a solid component of a reactor feed stream in a polymer production system, comprising (a) measuring a turbidity of a precontactor feed stream, wherein the precontactor feed stream comprises a solid component of a polymerization catalyst system, and (b) translating the turbidity of the precontactor feed stream into a concentration of the solid component in a precontactor effluent stream, wherein the precontactor effluent stream comprises the reactor feed stream.
