Enabling secured debug of an integrated circuit
Secured debug of an integrated circuit having a test operation mode and a secure mission operation mode. The integrated circuit has a processing unit, a test interface through which the test operation mode is controllable, an on-chip memory which is accessible in the test operation mode and in the secure mission operation mode, and one or more protected resources inaccessible in the test operation mode. The processing unit is configured, in the test operation mode, to receive an authenticated object through the test interface, and store the received authenticated object in the on-chip memory. The processing unit is moreover configured, upon reset into the secure mission operation mode, to execute a boot procedure to determine that the authenticated object is available in the on-chip memory, authenticate the authenticated object, andupon successful authenticationrender the more protected resources accessible to a debug host external to the integrated circuit.
Washing process
A process for washing a particulate substance comprising: (i) combining a particulate substance and a first washing medium in a first vessel to form a slurry and washing the particulate substance with said washing medium; (ii) transferring the slurry to a hydrocyclone; (iii) removing a first by-product stream depleted in particulate substance and a first product stream enriched in particulate substance from the hydrocyclone; (iv) transferring the first product stream to a second vessel and in the presence of a second washing medium forming a slurry and washing the particulate substance with said second washing medium e.g. by agitation thereof; (v) transferring the slurry to a hydrocyclone; (vi) removing a second by-product stream depleted in particulate substance and a second product stream enriched in particulate substance from the hydrocyclone.
SLURRY PHOTOREACTOR DRIVEN BY HYBRID AND ARTIFICIAL LIGHT SOURCES
A hybrid slurry reactor for performing photocatalytic reactions is provided. The hybrid slurry reactor includes a photoreactor, including a conduit, having a transparent portion, a light-emitting diode (LED) array disposed within the conduit; wherein the conduit is configured such that photons from an external source enter the conduit through the transparent portion and the LED array is directed to emit photons into the conduit.
Use of Turbidimeter for Measurement of Solid Catalyst System Component in a Reactor Feed
A method of monitoring a solid component of a reactor feed stream in a polymer production system, comprising (a) measuring a turbidity of the reactor feed stream, wherein the reactor feed stream comprises a solid component of a polymerization catalyst system, and (b) translating the turbidity of the reactor feed stream into a concentration of the solid component in the reactor feed stream. A method of monitoring a solid component of a reactor feed stream in a polymer production system, comprising (a) measuring a turbidity of a precontactor feed stream, wherein the precontactor feed stream comprises a solid component of a polymerization catalyst system, and (b) translating the turbidity of the precontactor feed stream into a concentration of the solid component in a precontactor effluent stream, wherein the precontactor effluent stream comprises the reactor feed stream.
Storing And Transporting Energy
Among other things, hydrogen is released from water at a first location using energy from a first energy source; the released hydrogen is stored in a metal hydride slurry; and the metal hydride slurry is transported to a second location remote from the first location.
CHEMICAL REACTION APPARATUS
In order to suppress discharge of an unreacted content in a chemical reaction apparatus for irradiating a content with microwaves, a chemical reaction apparatus includes: a horizontal flow-type reactor in which a liquid content horizontally flows with an unfilled space being provided thereabove; a microwave generator that generates microwaves; and a waveguide that transmits the microwaves generated by the microwave generator to the unfilled space in the reactor, wherein the inside of the reactor is partitioned into multiple chambers to by overflow-type partition plates and that allow the content to flow thereover and an underflow-type partition plate that allows the content to flow thereunder.
Quantitative catalyst supply device
The present invention provides a quantitative catalyst supply device that supplies a predetermined amount of catalyst slurry through an injection port formed through a container bottom. The quantitative catalyst supply device includes: an extendible supply pipe connected to a hopper and filled with catalyst slurry; a head connected to the supply pipe and supplying catalyst slurry to the injection port at the container bottom; a cylinder connected to a side of the supply pipe and supplying a predetermined amount of catalyst slurry through the head; and valve units disposed in an upper portion and a lower portion of the supply pipe spaced from the cylinder and opened or closed by operation of the cylinder.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CHLOROSILANE GAS USING CONTINUOUS TUBULAR REACTOR
The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing trichlorosilane from tetrachlorosilane in an efficient manner. The apparatus includes an inlet through which reaction raw materials including a metal silicon powder dispersed in liquid tetrachlorosilane enter, a hole through which a gaseous reaction raw material is fed, an outlet through which reaction products including trichlorosilane exit, a tubular reactor in which the reaction raw materials entering through the inlet react with each other during flow, and means for impeding the flow of the fluids to cause collision of the fluids during flow.
System and method for polymerization
Techniques are provided for polymerization. A polymerization method may include polymerizing a monomer in a polymerization reactor to produce a slurry comprising polyolefin particles and a diluent, flowing the slurry out of the polymerization reactor through an outlet of the polymerization reactor, receiving the slurry from the outlet into a slurry handling system, conveying a first mixture from the slurry handling system to a diluent and monomer recovery system, and injecting steam into the first mixture downstream of the slurry handling system using a steam injection system.
