Device with annular spouted fluidized bed and operating method therefor
A device with annular spouted fluidized bed can be used for carrying out the majority of the technical processes carried out in fluidized bed devices. The reaction chamber of the device has, throughout at least a part of its height, a downwardly tapering funnel shape with step-structured inner surface. The shape of the reaction chamber, together with the tangential admission thereto of fluidized and other gases, makes it possible to create, in the reaction chamber, an adjustable toroidal fluidized bed, in which the rotation rate of the particles of the material undergoing treatment can be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical planes, and also makes it possible to control the dwell time of particles of different sizes in the reaction zone, the intensity with which materials are treated, and other process parameters.
SOCKET-TYPE FLUID DISTRIBUTOR
A socket-type fluid distributor for distributing and supplying a gas and/or liquid reactant into a reactor body. The socket-type fluid distributor includes: a distributor body, a bottom portion of which is inserted into the reactor body; a mixing flow path formed in a central portion of the distributor body such that the mixing flow path penetrates through the distributor body into the reactor body; a gas reactant input portion disposed above the distributor body and having a gas flow path; a liquid reactant input portion disposed between the distributor body and the gas reactant input portion and having a liquid flow path; and a flow control portion formed in the mixing flow path.

The invention relates to an injection device (10) for atomizing a liquid into droplets using a gas, comprising a hollow tubular body (12) having a longitudinal direction (X). An inner wall (13) defines a first region, referred to as contact region (Z1), and a second region (Z2). The body (12) has an inner cross-section that varies continuously or constantly over the entire length thereof except at the junction between the first and second regions, where the inner wall (13) of the body includes at least one cavity (201) which increases the size of the inner cross-section of the body, said at least one cavity extending over a predefined length in the longitudinal direction.
FLUIDIZED BED REACTOR
The present invention relates to a fluidized bed reactor. The fluidized bed reactor includes: a catalyst bed; a dust collector provided in an upper portion of the fluidized bed reactor collecting catalyst particles in a gas discharged toward the upper portion of the fluidized bed reactor; and a filter portion provided in a region between the dust collector and the catalyst bed, wherein the filter portion includes a filtering screen and a plurality of conical caps coupled to the filtering screen.

Retractable nozzle for refractory-lined equipment
A refractory-lined equipment includes a vessel defining an interior at least partially lined with a refractory material, and a nozzle assembly coupled to the vessel and extending into the interior. The nozzle assembly includes an outer sleeve fixed to the sidewall and extending through an aperture defined in the sidewall, the outer sleeve defining a central passageway, and a nozzle cartridge assembly positionable within the central passageway and including an inner sleeve, a refractory lining disposed about the inner sleeve, and a nozzle positioned within the inner sleeve. The nozzle cartridge assembly is removably coupled to the outer sleeve external to the vessel.

Exemplary apparatus or method implementations for a universal feeder system configured with a transfer screw feeder within a multi-section clamshell pipe permitting access to the feed screw and pipe interior for inspection, maintenance and/or cleaning during production, without disassembly or screw removal. The clamshell screw feeder pipe provides access to the screw by opening or removing the multi-section top portion of the clamshell pipe. The top pipe section is bolted and or hinges to the bottom portion of the clamshell pipe. The number of segmented multiple clamshell top sections depends on the length of the screw. One or more clamshell top sections may be configured with an inspection port. The universal feeder system configured with a transfer screw feeder within a multi-section clamshell pipe transfers feedstock feed from one or more feed vessels to one or more reactor vessel.
PROCESS TO CONDUCT AN ENDOTHERMIC STEAM REFORMING REACTION IN A FLUIDIZED BED REACTOR
The disclosure relates to a process to perform an endothermic steam reforming of hydrocarbons, said process comprising the steps of providing a fluidized bed reactor comprising at least two electrodes and a bed comprising particles, wherein the particles are put in a fluidized state to obtain a fluidized bed; heating the fluidized bed to a temperature ranging from 500° C. to 1200° C. by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed to conduct the endothermic reaction. The process is remarkable in that the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles and particles of a catalytic composition, wherein at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity ranging from 0.001 to 500 Ohm.Math.cm at 800° C. and in that the step of heating the fluidized bed is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed.

A method of using the continuous slurry-bed tank reactor comprising adding a catalyst, feeding reactants, stopping feeding the reactants, starting a heating system, changing directions of the reactants flowing through the tubular separation membranes.
