Spinning raft ride
A water ride includes a ride surface defining a ride path. Users of the water ride travel in ride vehicles along the ride surface with the ride vehicles traveling upon a layer of water introduced into or onto the ride surface. To induce the ride vehicles to change orientation at desired locations along the ride surface, the ride vehicles each include one or more ride vehicle components located on or near a bottom surface of the ride vehicle. One or more ride surface components are positioned at desired locations along the ride path in position to make contact with the ride vehicle component(s). This contact or interaction between the ride vehicle component(s) and the ride surface component(s) causes a change in orientation, such as a spin, to the ride vehicle.

Inflatable surfing apparatus
A water attraction having one or more inflatable areas and/or features for reducing turbulence of water flow over a ride surface is disclosed. The water attraction includes a ride surface, a water delivery section, and a recovery section. The water delivery section provides water flow on the ride surface. The ride surface may include the assembly of multiple segments and may be fully or partially inflatable. The water delivery section may include one or more water delivery mechanisms, for example, nozzles. A water delivery mechanism may deliver a water flow different from the water flows from other water delivery mechanisms.

Waterslide feature, ride vehicle and method
A waterslide feature comprises a channel having a sliding surface and walls. The walls define a plurality of recesses. A nozzle extends through each of the recesses angled to spray water over the sliding surface. The nozzles are positioned to provide a flow of water to impact a vehicle sliding on the sliding surface. The nozzles are sized to provide a flow of water sufficient to affect motion of the vehicle. The vehicle may include an attachment to enhance the effectiveness of the flow of water.

OBJECT ORIENTATION DETECTION SYSTEM
A ride system includes one or more sensors and a controller. The controller receives, from the one or more sensors, position data indicative of the position of a body and/or face of guest on the ride. Using the position data, the one or more controllers, determine a face direction, face rotation, or both of the guest, independent of sensor observations of the face direction and rotation. One or more features of the ride are controlled based upon the determined face direction and/or face rotation.
Amusement Attraction with Coupled Ride Paths
An amusement ride having two or more ride surface defining two or more separate ride paths, and a separation element between the two or more ride surfaces. The separation element may be configured to support a weight of a rider and/or the one or more ride surfaces. The separation element may be transparent to permit viewing there through. The separation element may be configured to transmit sounds there through. The two or more separate ride paths may be orientated relative to each other at different rotational angles.
Systems and methods for customizing amusement park attraction experiences using pneumatic robotic systems
A system may include a housing that may hold a body of water, an inflatable assembly disposed within the body of water, and a processor. The processor may receive an indication related to a speed of a flow of the body of water and send a signal to at least one valve coupled between the inflatable assembly and a fluid source in response to the indication. The signal may cause the at least one valve to fluidly couple the inflatable assembly to the fluid source to cause the inflatable assembly to expand to an inflated configuration.
