An acceleration section for a water slide, comprising: —a sliding trail in which a person can slide, —a pusher inside the sliding trail, the pusher being configured to accelerate the person inside the sliding trail, —an accelerator track outside of the sliding trail, —an accelerator car miming on the accelerator track and configured to be accelerated along the accelerator track, and —a coupling unit mechanically coupling the pusher and the accelerator car.

A water slide for a recreational pool or other body of water, the water slide including a ladder section and a chute rotatably coupled to one another to simplify disassembly and transport of the water slide when not in use. The water slide may further include a brace supporting the ladder section and chute, and a water tank designed to further stabilize the water slide during use.

A plurality of anchors may pass through the reinforced portions including the first sheet and subsequent sheets and fix the sheet(s) to the planar surface. The structure includes a body in a form of a prolate ellipsoid compressed or flattened from top and bottom; side walls and a bottom wall; and an open front end for a rider exit; a lateral rider opening for connecting at least a waterslide disposed parallel to at least a side wall of the side walls; where at least a part of the side wall is protruding in a form of a half tubular wall an end of the half tubular wall is connected to the lateral rider opening.

A structure for waterslides is provided. The slide feature has an inrun permitting ingress of the rider or ride vehicle, an outrun permitting egress, and a sliding surface in communication with the inrun and the outrun. The sliding surface may comprise a surface substantially in the shape of a sector of a closed curve and/or may be substantially planar. The slide feature may also include an outer lip and provide that the rider or ride vehicle, at least partially urged by gravity, slides along the sliding surface from the inrun to the outrun in an arcuate path at least partially bounded by the outer lip. The sliding surface may be oriented so an elevation of the rider or ride vehicle increases then decreases along the arcuate path.

A waterslide feature for providing a looping or arcuate travel path for a rider traveling thereon and method for making the same. The waterslide feature may have an entrance, an exit, and a surface (e.g., a ride surface, such as a bottom surface and/or a wall surface) therebetween comprising a transparent and/or semi-transparent surface configured to permit the rider to see through the surface and experience an exterior environment. Spectators or bystanders to the waterslide feature may be able to see through the surface and to witness riders riding upon the waterslide feature. The waterslide feature may be oriented at an angle to horizontal (e.g., tilted) and/or may be positioned within a defined exterior environment contained within an exterior wall. The exterior wall may be configured to retain water such that at least a portion of the waterslide feature is below the height of the water.
