Bag on valve technology

A dispenser includes a dispenser container and a valve assembly including a valve connected to the dispenser container. The dispenser container is at least partially filled with activated carbon and/or another adsorbent and a dispensing carrier gas. An ingredient is contained in an ingredient containing reservoir. The valve assembly further includes an upper end of which is in operative communication with an actuator spray nozzle, and a lower end connected to the ingredient containing reservoir, and a means to prevent the activated carbon and/or another adsorbent from passing into the valve assembly when the pressurised dispensing carrier gas is released. On actuation, the dispensing carrier gas is released together with the ingredient, and the ingredient and dispensing carrier gas mix before exiting the dispenser.

Fluid dispensing

A fluid dispensing apparatus includes a housing member inner wall partly surrounding an inner chamber region, an inner fluid port in fluid communication with an open region; a fluid communication passageway disposed outside the inner chamber region and in fluid communication with the open region; a wall fluid port fluidly connecting a fluid communication region and the inner chamber region; and a closure element selectively limiting fluid flow through the inner fluid port; the housing member connected to a valve assembly including an elongate valve stem with a respective stem axis and a stem housing, the stem housing having a stem housing fluid communication region in fluid communication with the fluid communication passageway and connectable to an inner stem channel, the stem housing having a gas communication region fluidly connectable to the inner stem channel so that a fluid and a gas are mixable in the inner stem channel.
