Suspended load carrying system

Various embodiments of load carrying systems comprise a load supporting frame comprising three or more connection points and an associated set of lifts configured which define six separate triangles defining separate planes configured to brace against surge, sway and yaw with respect to a support frame, such as unintended or unwanted surge, sway and yaw, while allowing intended and/or desired surge, sway and yaw.

IMMERSIVE MOBILE THEATER

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for moving a ride vehicle in an immersive mobile theater. A ride vehicle is received in an enclosure. The ride vehicle is received from a first track to a track segment within the enclosure. The movement of the ride vehicle is restricted to the track segment within the enclosure. The enclosure, with the ride vehicle inside, is moved from a first physical location to a second physical location while the ride vehicle is located within the enclosure. An immersive media presentation is provided within the enclosure while moving the enclosure from the first physical location to the second physical location and while the ride vehicle is located within the enclosure. The ride vehicle is released from the track segment within the enclosure to a second track.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING VISUAL EFFECTS VIA TRANSDUCER-ACTUATED SHOW ACTION EQUIPMENT

A system for providing an actuated-wall visual effect in an amusement park environment, the system comprising a panel mounting frame and a panel coupled to the panel mounting frame via a damper. The system also comprises a transducer mounting frame and a transducer configured to convert an audio signal into mechanical energy. The transducer comprises a first portion coupled to the transducer frame and a second portion coupled to the panel such that the transducer is configured to oscillate the panel relative to the transducer mounting frame in response to receiving the audio signal.

OVERHUNG RIDE ASSEMBLY

A ride system includes a track and an overhung ride assembly. The overhung ride assembly includes a transport platform coupled to the track, a ride vehicle, and a heave system extending between the transport platform and the ride vehicle. The heave system is configured to heave the ride vehicle relative to the transport platform. The heave system includes an extendible tube defining a variable volume configured to store a gaseous fluid. The extendible tube is configured to extend in response to a lowering of the ride vehicle away from the transport platform by the heave system such that the gaseous fluid within the variable volume of the extendible tube provides a fluid force that biases the extendible tube toward a contracted configuration to assist the heave system with a lifting of the ride vehicle toward the transport platform.

A theater area includes audience seating that faces outwardly in an “inverted-theater-in-the-round” arrangement towards a ring-shaped performance stage. The performance stage is designed to rotate around the audience area so that each section of the audience can see each part of the stage at different times.
