SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A RIDE VEHICLE OF AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
An amusement park attraction system including a ride vehicle comprising an input device, and a control system configured to determine a parameter value associated with a force imparted on the input device. The parameter value includes a value of the force imparted on the input device, a value of a deformation caused by the force imparted on the input device, or both. The control system is also configured to control movement of the ride vehicle of the amusement park attraction system based on the parameter value.

Inflatable entertainment structures
An inflatable structure includes a plurality of inflatable walls arranged to form a room having an interior and one or more lockable compartments integrated into the plurality of inflatable walls. The lockable compartments can include a non-inflated recess formed within an inflatable wall and at least one flap configured to close an opening of the recess of the first lockable compartment. The inflatable structure can be themed, e.g., by installing themed skins on interior surfaces of the room to provide a user experience. The inflatable structure may also include integrated virtual reality components, including a virtual reality headset supported by the structure.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING ELECTROSTATIC BUILDUP FOR AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
An attraction system of an amusement park includes a sensor configured to monitor electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system and a control system communicatively coupled to the sensor. The control system is configured to receive data from the sensor, the data being indicative of an amount of the electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system, and operate the attraction system based on the data indicative of the amount of the electrostatic buildup associated with the attraction system.
FACIAL ACTIVITY DETECTION FOR VIRTUAL REALITY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In an embodiment, a virtual reality ride system includes a display to present virtual reality image content to a first rider, an audio sensor to capture audio data associated with a second rider, and an image sensor to capture image data associated with the second rider. The virtual reality ride system also includes at least one processor communicatively coupled to the display and configured to (i) receive the audio data, the image data, or both, (ii) generate a virtual avatar corresponding to the second rider, wherein the virtual avatar includes a set of facial features, (iii) update the set of facial features based on the audio data, the image data, or both, and (iv) instruct the display to present the virtual reality image content including the virtual avatar and the updated set of facial features.

Systems and methods for incorporating pneumatic robotic systems into structures
A system may include a virtual reality system configured to present one or more virtual objects via an electronic display. The system may also include one or more inflatable objects that correspond to the one or more virtual objects, such that the one or more inflatable objects matches one or more shapes of the one or more virtual objects. The system may also include a processor configured to cause at least one of the one or more inflatable objects to inflate based on feedback from the virtual reality system.
