SAMPLE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SWAB
Provided herein are devices, kits, systems, and methods for collecting samples for analytical analysis and the safe disposal of sample collection devices after their use. The devices, kits, systems, and methods find use, for example, for disposing of biohazard materials by users in settings that may not be equipped with the professional biohazard disposal systems of laboratories, hospitals, and medical clinics.
Needle-free, safety biological sample collection system
A collection container for biological samples is described. In one embodiment, the collection container includes a receptacle and a lid with a sampling port. The sampling port is coupled to an aspiration tube and allows access to the contents of the receptacle. A needle-free fitting allows a mating device to be coupled to the sampling port. A valve automatically closes to prevent the sample from escaping through the sampling port when a mating device is not coupled.
Multianalyte assay
The invention provides compositions, systems and methods for detecting multiple analytes from a sample.
Assembly for storing and mixing two substances
A storage assembly for two substances to be mixed prior to use, includes a closable dropper tip (3). A first storage chamber (7) is formed by the closable dropper tip (3) and a first container part (2, 4), the first container part (2, 4) being provided with at least one aperture (43). A second storage chamber (8) is formed by a second container part (5) which includes an open end part (52, 53) that closes off the at least one aperture (43) in a first operational position. The first and second container parts (2, 4; 5, 6) are moveable with respect to each other, and are in fluid communication through the at least one aperture (43) in a second operational position wherein the total flow surface area of the at least one aperture (43) is at least equal to a cross sectional area of the first container part.
Biofluid collection and filtration device
The present specification discloses filtration devices for processing a biofluid sample, methods of purifying a biofluid sample using the disclosed filtration devices, and systems comprising components of the filtration devices. The filtration device generally includes a collection container, a quantitative container, a filter, and a plunger slidably inserted through a plunger attachment. In a first configuration, the quantitative container is axially slidably inserted within the collection chamber, with fluid communication between the quantitative chamber and the collection chamber provided through the filter. In a second configuration, the filter and the collection container are separated from the quantitative container, the plunger attachment is fitted to the quantitative chamber open end with at least a portion of the plunger positioned within the quantitative chamber.
Leak Resistant Droppers
In various implementations, a dropper for a bottle may include a bulb with a flange and an extended leg. The dropper may be used as a cap, in some implementations, with or without a skirt. The dropper may inhibit leaks from a bottle when the dropper is used as a cap for the bottle.
Tube assembly for dripping to diagnostic strip and extracting gene fragment
The present invention relates to a tube assembly for dripping. According to an embodiment, a tube assembly for dripping includes a tube (100) having a hole (H) at an upper portion thereof, and a filter tip (200) having a tip (210) including, an insertion part (211) inserted into the hole (H) of the tube (100) and, an expansion part (212) connected to the insertion part (211) and having a diameter that is larger than that of the hole (H), and a discharge pipe (213) connected to the expansion part (212) and acting as a passage, through which a solution (S) stored in the interior of the tube (100) is discharged, wherein a discharge adjusting part (213a) having a discharge hole (h) having a predetermined diameter (d1) is formed in the interior of the discharge pipe (213) that is spaced apart from a lower end of the discharge pipe (213) by a predetermined distance.
Nozzle and dispensing container
A nozzle includes a mounting opening that is to be connected to an opening portion of a container, an outlet that jets liquid stored in the container, a side face that connects the mounting opening to the outlet, and a liquid storage portion that stores a part of the liquid stored in the container in the nozzle without jetting a part of the liquid from the outlet in a case where the liquid is to be jetted from the dispensing container, that is, in a case where the outlet faces downward in the direction of gravity.
Fluid product dispenser
A fluid dispenser having a casing (E) provided with a dispenser head (11); and a refill cartridge (C) that includes a fluid reservoir (R). The refill cartridge (C) is axially insertable into the casing (E) in such a manner as to connect the fluid reservoir (R) to the dispenser head (11). The refill cartridge (C) and the casing (E) are provided with a connection mechanism (17, 253) that connects the refill cartridge (C) in the casing (E) by screw-fastening, so as to bring the fluid reservoir (R) into leaktight contact with the dispenser head (11). The movement, after screw-fastening, of the refill cartridge (C) in the casing (E) towards the dispenser head (11) delivers the fluid to the dispenser head (11).
