Persistent progress over a connected device network and interactive and continuous storytelling via data input from connected devices
Systems, methods and articles of manufacture for affect a virtual world based n available electronic devices. A control node identifies electronic devices present within a physical environment. Embodiments detect a device type of a first electronic device and determine an API implemented by the first electronic device, based on the detected device type of the first electronic device. Electronic messages are transmitted to the first electronic device, via the one or more data communications networks. The electronic messages are formatted according to the determined API. One or more actions are determined for a first user for a first computer game, based on data received from the first electronic device via the one or more data communications networks, and a game state for the first computer game is updated, based on performance of the one or more actions.
SCULPTURE DEVICE MOUNTABLE TO ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING BUILT-IN CAMERA
A sculpture device has a base, a figurine, a control element, a cover, and a device attachment clip. The control element has a magnetic mechanism for moving the figurine along an upper surface of the base in correspondence with movement of the control element along a lower surface of the base. The cover is coupled to the base and encloses a device interior of the sculpture device. The device attachment clip is coupled to the cover and has a through-hole or a sculpture lens. The device attachment clip removably attaches the sculpture device to an electronic device in a manner such that the through-hole or the sculpture lens is aligned with a camera lens of the electronic device allowing an operator to view the figurine and the device interior on a display screen of the electronic device when the camera is activated.
Systems and methods to elicit physical activity in users acting as caretakers of physical objects
Systems and methods to elicit physical activity in users acting as caretakers of physical objects. Caretaking information for a physical object may define a set of caretaking criteria of a physical object. Individual caretaking criteria may comprise one or more caretaking requirements of the physical object to be satisfied based on physical activity of a user. The caretaking requirements of the physical object may “trick” the user into performing fitness/wellness behavior. In caring for the physical object, the user may actually be caring for themselves.
REMOVABLE COVER FOR A ROBOTIC CLEANING DEVICE
A device for covering a plurality of different sized robotic systems. The device can include a cover sized to at least partially fit over the robotic system; one or more sidewalls extended from the cover, wherein the one or more sidewalls is configured to removably engage with each of the plurality of different sized robotic systems; and one or more apertures in the cover and/or the one or more sidewalls. The one or more apertures are selectively positioned and sized so as to prevent obstructing the one or more onboard sensors of the respective robotic system when the device is in an assembled state with the respective robotic system.
ROBOT
A robot includes a body contactable with a placement surface, a head, at least one actuator, and at least one processor. The head is contactable with the placement surface, and is coupled to a front end of the body so as to be rotatable about a first rotational axis extending in a front-rear direction of the body and rotatable about a second rotational axis extending in a width direction of the body. The at least one actuator turns the head by causing the head to make a turn about the first rotational axis and a turn about the second rotational axis independently of each other. The at least one processor repeats a first turn control scheme and a second turn control scheme in sequence.
Animation puppet
The animation puppet includes a body core, a head configured for friction-fit engagement with the body core and forming a head joint therebetween, a pair of upper limbs configured for friction-fit engagement with the body core and forming a respective pair of upper limb joints therebetween, and a pair of legs configured for friction-fit engagement with the body core and forming a respective pair of leg joints therebetween. Each of the joints include a pair of articulable surfaces in said friction-fit engagement by way of a surface interface pre-tension having a coefficient of friction relatively greater than the weight of the animation puppet such that each joint independently supports the weight of the animation puppet while simultaneously permitting relative independent position posing of one or more of the head, the pair of arms, and/or the pair of limbs relative to the body core for stop-motion animation.
Connecting system for doll, clothing, and accessories
A combination has a flat fabric doll with applied grommets for attaching reversible clothing and accessories. A doll head and torso joins by sewing to a front surface with arms and legs extending from beneath and adding depth to the doll. Grommets join to the torso and to reversible clothing. A brad or button threaded with pipe cleaner passes through the reversible clothing grommet and the doll torso grommet and exits the rear surface and bends for securement. A grommet applied above the head on the front surface receives a fabric loop for holding flat a doll during play. The invention also has another loop or label upon the rear surface that secures the doll to a stand by slipping over an upright pole of the stand.
Robotic eyeball with integral camera
This disclosure provides devices and systems for a moveable eyeball assembly for a doll head. The eyeball assembly can have a rear portion having at least one first eyeball magnet and a substantially hemispherical shape forming a rear cavity in the rear portion. The eyeball assembly can have a front portion having a substantially hemispherical shape. The front portion can have at least one second eyeball magnet configured to magnetically couple with the at least one first eyeball magnet. The front portion can have a pupil element. The front portion can have an iris portion surrounding the pupil element. The eyeball assembly can be received in a gimbal assembly to move the eyeball assembly in at least two axes.
Dynamic and variable controlled information system and methods for monitoring and adjusting behavior
The disclosed embodiments provide an apparatus and methods for assisting individuals in controlling respiratory rates. For example, a respiratory regulation apparatus is provided in the form of a plush animal toy that operates components to simulate the breathing rate of anxious individuals. The apparatus may include actuators that are controlled by a slotted cam that is dynamically rotated at varying speeds in a determined rotational direction. The actuators move inward and outward in relative directions to move a torso of the plush animal toy to simulate breathing. In certain aspects, actuators may expand outward while at the same time another actuator contracts inward to cause the torso to simulate realistic breathing movements. A processor controls the speed of the cam such that the simulated breathing of the animal toy apparatus can be reduced at a controlled rate to assist an individual in reducing their breathing rate to a calmer state.
"Do Not Forget The Baby!" SAFETY BEAR
A safety bear device that communicates with a remote-control bear device to remind the driver that a child is on the back seat of the vehicle. It hangs from the rear view mirror with a hook and cord (option 1), or Velcro to the dashboard (option 2), comprising of distinctive features such as flashing eyes when activated, a voice box that beeps and talks, a sensor to reset safety and remote-control bear devices that beeps 6 feet away from the vehicle operated by a battery. The safety bear and remote-control bear devices are designed to save lives and works in all vehicles.
