INTERACTIVE DOLL
An interactive doll, including a doll body having decorative elements, and at least one output interface adapted to provide instructions and feedback to a user. A first sensor is adapted to identify at least one of motion of the doll, orientation of the doll, or acceleration of the doll, and a second sensor is adapted to identify at least one characteristic on a surface of the doll body. The doll includes at least one instruction repository storing a plurality of instructions and associated valid responses for responding to each instruction. A controller includes a processor and a medium storing instructions to be executed by the processor, including instructions to provide an instruction to the user, instructions to receive a response of the user to the instruction, instructions to identify if the response is a valid response to the instruction, and instructions to provide feedback to the user.
INTERACTIVE MOTORIZED ROTATING TOY
A motorized children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy includes a toy body with motorized wheels and a plurality of user input areas with capacitive touch sensors. The motorized wheels are configured to operate in response to a sequence of user interaction with the user input areas and spin the toy body in according to the sequence of user interaction with the user input areas. The children's toy also includes light and/or sound emitting devices which activate in response to user interactions with the user input areas.
Light up article having multiple light effects
A light-up article includes a housing having an aperture at a bottom that receives a lighting device that extends outwardly therefrom. The lighting device includes a spring biased assembly for biasing a contact switch therein to an open position. When force is applied to the article downwardly, springs compress as housing members of the lighting device approach and the contact switch actuates. Actuation results in an electrical circuit outputting light from a light emitter at the top of the lighting device that is viewable through a translucent housing of the article.
Light-up Toy With Motion Sensing Capabilities
A toy for use in an environment, such as a bedroom of a child that has a horizontal floor or shelf, includes an enclosure, such as a plush toy, that has an outside surface defining an interior volume. An internal circuit is electrically connected to a battery, a timer function, a transducer such as an LED, a user input switch, and at least one environmental sensor such as a motion sensor. The circuit includes an off mode, a guard mode wherein the circuit actuates the at least one transducer for a first active time interval upon detection of an environmental change, and optionally a companion mode wherein the circuit activates the at least one transducer for a second active time interval upon detection of an environmental change by the at least one environmental sensor. Thereafter the circuit deactivates the at least one transducer after a second all-quite time interval.
INTERACTIVE PLUSH CHARACTER SYSTEM
A smart toy platform including a plush character configured to receive a computing device having a display screen, such as a tablet computer or smartphone. The plush includes a pocket configured to receive the computing device. The plush can also include one or more display openings associated with the pocket such that, when the computing device is properly positioned within the pocket, at least a portion of the display screen of the computing device is visible from an exterior of the plush through the display opening(s). The plush can include one or more limbs or other appendages (e.g., arm or leg). One or more of the appendages can include one or more sensors that can communicate with the computing device to allow interaction between the user and the plush/computing device.
Assembly with object in housing and mechanism to open housing
In an aspect, a toy assembly is provided, and includes a housing, an inner object, at least one sensor and a controller. The inner object is positioned inside the housing and includes a breakout mechanism that is operable to break the housing to expose the inner object. The at least one sensor detects interaction with a user. The controller is configured to determine whether a selected condition has been met based on at least one interaction with the user, and to operate the breakout mechanism to break the housing to expose the inner object if the condition is met. Optionally, the condition is met based upon having a selected number of interactions with the user.
DURABLE PROGRAMMABLE ILLUMINATED REPLICA EYE AND A METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A replica eye with programmable iris illumination and a method of making the same is provided. The replica eye includes a programmable lighting element having a planar base with electrical pins outward of a centrally disposed light source is electrically coupled via the pins to one or more electrical connections. One end of a transparent cylinder approximately coextensively abuts the light source. The outer portions of the planar base and its electrical connections are folded into a folded assembly that is received into and adhered along an inner circumferential wall of a ring. The electrical connections are further adhered along a rear portion of the ring and planar base. A semi-spherical dome sandwiches an opaque body to an opposing end of the transparent cylinder, thereby defining an illuminable iris and pupil, respectively.
Egg-shaped pop-up toy with electronic effects
A pop-up toy device that has a housing with at least two sections. A spring-loaded post inside the housing operates between a retracted position and an extended position. The spring-loaded post extends a first section of the housing away from a second section of the housing when in its extended position. A groove and rest are formed in the spring-loaded post. A base is mounted in the housing that supports the spring-loaded post. A locking finger extends from the base and follows the groove in the spring-loaded post as the spring-loaded post moves between its retracted position and its extended position. The locking finger engages the rest in the groove and retains the spring-loaded post in its retracted position when said spring-loaded post is manually manipulated into its retracted position from its extended position.
Melodiman musical toy figurine
A combination of a set of musical instruments and accessories to form a musical toy figurine is disclosed. The musical toy figurine comprising a head part; a stomach part; a right-arm part; a left-arm part; a right-leg part and a left-leg part, wherein each part comprises of at least a musical instrument and accessories and is detachable to be used as a musical instrument individually or in combination with each other to create a new musical toy; and wherein each part is hollow having a plurality of apertures to make a plurality of combination of sounds to escape from each part, and wherein each part including at least an attachment means attachable to one another to create a new musical toy figurine configured to play as a new musical instrument with a new combination of sounds.
TOY WITH LIGHT EMITTING DIODE
A toy has one or more LED light sources positioned on the toy so the light source illuminates beyond the toy. A toy to be worn on the human finger comprises a body includes an anchoring portion for receiving or locating a finger or fingers. A LED or other light source is operated on the toy to interact with photo-luminescent ink and other inks pre-printed or included in a decoration on the surface of another item such as a book or other toy. The toy is a reading tool or a light source or an enhancement of other toys or writings. The LED light sources include a black light and/or other LED lights of other colors. The lights are connected to a circuit board and an integrated power source, which are connected to a switch encased on the toy.
