The ampoules comprise an inlet plenum located between the inlet port and the cavity and an outlet plenum located between the outlet port and the cavity. A flow path is defined by a plurality of tubular walls and a flow ingress openings of the ampoule adjacent bottom edges of the tubular walls, through which a carrier gas flows in contact with the precursor.
TRANSPORT STRUCTURE FOR A PLURALITY OF VIALS FOR PHARMACEUTICAL, MEDICAL OR COSMETIC USE, STERILE PACKAGING STRUCTURE AND PROCESS FOR PROCESSING VIALS
A transport structure for accommodating a plurality of vials for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic use under non-sterile conditions is formed by an accommodation member and by a bearing member releasably connected thereto. The accommodation member comprises a plurality of frustro-conical receptacles in a regular arrangement so that the vials can be accommodated upright and while preventing a direct contact between adjacent vials in the receptacles of the accommodation member. The transport structure comprises latching structures for releasable latching of the accommodation member with the bearing member. According to the disclosure, the receptacles are matched to the height of the vials in such a manner that the vials can be completely accommodated therein, wherein the bearing member is formed by a base plate having a flat supporting surface facing the receptacles, so that the vials can be freely displaced on the supporting surface of the base plate after releasing the latching and can be pushed from the bearing member by displacement of the accommodation member relative to the bearing member. The accommodation member and/or the bearing member can be formed in one piece by thermoforming a plastic material, in particular by deep-drawing a thin film or a thin film plate.
Supporting structure for supporting sealed cartridges, transport or packaging container and process for processing the same
A supporting structure for supporting a plurality of sealed medical cartridges is disclosed, comprising a planar supporting plate having a plurality of receptacles for accommodating the sealed cartridges. Retaining protrusions are formed at the bottom ends of the receptacles protruding inward, which are mated with the shoulder portions of the sealed cartridges in such a manner that the shoulder portions of the sealed cartridges are supported on the retaining protrusions of the receptacles and that the upper ends of the sealed cartridges protrude from the upper ends of the receptacles at an upper side of the planar supporting plate, when the sealed cartridges are accommodated upside-down in the receptacles. The inventive nest will be suitable for any nested liquid filling machine without much changes in filling table and general settings.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE PRESENCE OF AN ANALYTE
Described herein is an apparatus for detecting analytes in a sample. The apparatus comprises a flexible body. The flexible body comprises a reagent chamber, a swab channel, adjacent the reagent chamber, a test strip channel, adjacent the swab channel, and a sample chamber open to the reagent chamber, the swab channel, and the test strip channel. The apparatus also comprises at least a first reagent ampule and a second reagent ampule located within the reagent chamber. The first reagent ampule stores a first reagent and the second reagent ampule stores a second reagent different than the first reagent. The apparatus additionally comprises a swab releasably locatable within the swab channel. The apparatus further comprises a test strip located within the test strip channel or releasably locatable within the test strip channel.
Holding structure for simultaneously holding a plurality of containers for substances for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications, transport unit and transport or packaging container having the same
A holding structure includes receptacles formed by peripherally formed side walls, an annular gap being formed between a side wall of a container or device and one of the peripherally formed side walls when containers or devices are received therein, the receptacles being compressed in a first direction and expanded in a second direction transversely thereto, with the result that the gap is widened to form a widened clearance for handling containers or devices which are received in the receptacles, the holding structure further including an upper side, the peripherally formed side walls including an upper edge which forms a closed, smooth curve having at least one local maximum and at least one local minimum in a direction perpendicular to the upper side of the holding structure, the at least one local minimum being situated in a region of the widened clearance that is respectively assigned.
METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE AND/OR QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF SUBSTANCES CONTAINED IN A HEMP PLANT AND KIT FOR USE THEREIN
A method for qualitatively and/or quantitatively detecting one or more substances contained in the hemp plant using a kit having a) an ampoule; b) a material comprising a hemp plant or parts thereof; and c) a color indicator capable of reacting by contacting the hemp plant and/or at least a part thereof to change the color of the color indicator, wherein the material and the color indicator are disposed in the ampoule.
SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR CONCURRENTLY SUPPORTING A PLURALITY OF VIALS, USE THEREOF AND PROCESS FOR THE TREATMENT OF SUCH VIALS
A supporting structure for concurrently supporting a plurality of vials is provided. The supporting structure includes a carrier having apertures or receptacles, into which the vials can be inserted to be supported therein on the carrier. The vials have a bottom that forms a base, a cylindrical side wall, and an annular transition region between the base and the cylindrical side wall. The carrier has a retaining protrusion at a lower end of the aperture or receptacle that extends into the respective aperture or receptacle inward in radial direction. The retaining protrusion supports the vial in cooperation with the transition region outside the base in such a manner that the bottoms or bases of the vials jut out of the apertures or receptacles of the carrier and are freely accessible from the lower side of the carrier.
METHOD FOR CLOSING CARTRIDGES, SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING CARTRIDGE CLOSURES AND TRANSPORT OR PACKAGING CONTAINER
In a method for closing a plurality of medical cartridges (5) a closure nest for supporting a plurality of closures is used, comprising a planar supporting plate having a plurality of receptacles having a plurality of tubular receptacles (61) and retaining structures for reliably accommodating the closures (200). In the method the plurality of medical cartridges (5) is supported in a corresponding cartridge nest. The closure nest is disposed above the cartridge nest so that the receptacles of the closure nest are precisely aligned with the receptacles of the cartridge nest. The closures (200) are then pushed downward out of the receptacles of the closure nest and into the cartridges (5), while the cartridges are supported by the cartridge nest. The closure nest can be directly fed on existing filling and stoppering machine set-ups for processing sealed prefillable syringe barrels, basically without the necessity of changing the set-up.
