SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIFFUSING ESSENTIAL OILS
Some implementations of the present invention relate to systems and methods for diffusing scents to a given location by placing a scent reservoir within a vessel including an inner chamber, a vent, and a selectively closable opening. In some cases, the scent reservoir is secured within the vessel while allowing the desired aroma to diffuse into the surrounding area through the vent. In some cases, the inner chamber comprises a wall or layer that is less permeable to the scent than is the vent. Accordingly, in some cases, the inner chamber is configured to direct the scent from the scent reservoir to the vent, which is disposed at an outer surface of the vessel. While the vessel can be any suitable object, in some cases, it is a stuffed animal. Other implementations are also described.
REVERSIBLE TOY
In one embodiment, a reversible toy includes a body with a first body portion having a first surface and a second body portion having a second surface, the second portion being coupled to the first portion. The first portion and the second portion together define a globoid shape, with a sealed cavity therebetween, and an interior cavity within the body. The cavity contains a stuffing separate from the portions, separates the portions, and defines the globoid shape. The body is reversible between a first and second position to alternatingly present one of the first surface or second surface defining an exterior of the body. The other of the first and second surface is alternatingly storable in the interior cavity and the first and second body portions and the stuffing collapse into the interior cavity through an opening when the body is moved between the first position and the second position.

Poseable elf doll having a thermoplastic head/neck and cloth-body retrofitted with strands of wire to render same poseable and self-standing
A poseable doll and method of retrofitting to form a poseable doll that has a thermoplastic head and a cloth body. A wire extends across a central region of the cloth body widthwise and into both arms of the cloth body. Two wires extend separately from respective ones of the legs of the cloth body across the central region lengthwise and into the head. Otherwise, a single wire is bent with its bend in the head so that the bent single wire can extend through the central region and into both of the legs. Terminal ends of all the wires are curled. The method may include retrofitting a non-poseable doll and include cutting stitching whose presence would interfere with positioning the wire into the cloth body to reach hands and feet of the arms and legs.

POSEABLE AND SELF-STANDING DOLL COMPRISING INTERNAL WIRING AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The invention is a poseable doll and methods of making a poseable doll. The doll includes an internal wire that extends across a torso region widthwise and into both arms. Two wires extend separately into each leg, through the torso, and into the head of the doll. Alternatively, a single wire can be bent with its bend in the head so that the bent single wire can extend through the central region and into both of the legs. Terminal ends of all the wires can be curled. The method may include retrofitting a non-poseable doll in some embodiments.

Artificial heartbeat generator device with automatic control system
A heartbeat or pulse generator device is provided separately for use in or in combination with a comfort product such as a plush toy. The heartbeat generator device includes an automatic control system that provides for controlled operation of the heartbeat generator while compensating for natural movements during use. The heartbeat generator device contains a pulse generator to create the motion necessary to cause the heart to “beat” twice early in a beat interval. The heartbeat generator device to increase battery longevity by allowing the generator device to selectively shut off when it senses that the animal or other user is no longer interacting with the product. As the animal interacts, the emulated heartbeat continues. When the animal stops interacting for a period of time, the heartbeat will stop, and battery life is preserved. The heart will restart when motion is detected once again. Further, the improved device contains a sensor and control system that can sense physical movement of the heartbeat generator device while at the same time compensating for the physical movement it is itself creating with the motor to emulate a heartbeat.
