The locking mechanism has a lock lever rotatably connected to the table. The lock lever has a handle for moving locking mechanism between the locked and unlocked positions. The saw also has a miter detent assembly for selectively engaging and disengaging the detent notch.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING MILLING ROLL
20190119802 · 2019-04-25 ·

A smooth roll (1) having a surface layer with water-retaining function is obtained by a method for producing a milling roll, comprising: a roughening process for blasting a surface (2a) of a roll substrate (2) constituting the smooth roll (1); and a coating process for spraying a thermal spray material over the roughened surface (2a) of the roll substrate (2) so as to form a thermal sprayed coating (3) having pores (5) that retain water. Satisfactory cereal powder is obtained by preventing drying of cereals in a milling process and retaining an adequate water content.

WEAR-RESISTANT ELEMENT FOR A COMMINUTING DEVICE

A wear-resistant element for partial insertion into a recess on the surface of a wear area of a comminuting device. The wear-resistant element includes particles made of a highly wear-resistant material which are embedded in a matrix material.

Method for making recesses in a rolling roller
10159984 · 2018-12-25 · ·

A method for making recesses in the surface of a roller for a rolling press. A thermal treatment is applied to a cylindrical roller surface by heating the surface in a region of the desired recesses until the material properties of the roller surface change permanently, i.e., even after cooling, with respect to the hardness of the roller material. The thermally treated regions produce a softer material in those regions than in the surrounding surface of the roller. By virture of a first start-up of the rolling press with abrasive material to be comminuted, the desired profiling is formed spontaneously due to a wearing down of the soft regions to form the desired recesses. The thermal treatment represent a particularly simple and cost-effective method for profiling rolling rollers, and in particular, rolling rollers which have already become worn, which that thereby be readily refurbished.

Crop processor and a manufacturing process for a crop processor

A crop processor for cracking kernels in a forage harvester, the crop processor including: a housing having an inlet and an outlet; and a first and a second comminuting roll mounted inside the housing, the comminuting rolls being arranged in parallel to define an opening between the rolls, the comminuting rolls being configured to rotate, during use, in opposing rotation directions to transport a flow of harvested crop, received from the inlet, through the opening towards the outlet, wherein the first comminuting roll is configured to rotate at a greater speed than the second comminuting roll; wherein the first and second comminuting rolls each include a plurality of teeth arranged on a circumferential surface of the comminuting roll, each of the plurality of teeth includes a leading edge which faces in the rotation direction of that comminuting roll.

GRINDING ROLL
20240269682 · 2024-08-15 · ·

A grinding roll including a roll body having a cylindrical outer surface extending axially between a pair of opposite ends, and a side groove formed at each end of the roll body. The side groove includes a support shoulder recessed from the outer surface and/or from surfaces of the opposite ends of the roll body. The grinding roll includes an edge ring including a plurality of spaced receiving cavities, and a plurality of wear members each being received and retained in at least one of the receiving cavities. The wear members are positioned along the edge ring to define an edge of the grinding roll, and the edge ring is received within each side groove. The wear members are arranged to provide a wear protecting surface which is angled in relation to the outer surface of the roll body to prevent excessive build-up of material on the grinding roll.
