The invention relates to a method for producing recycled scrap, said method comprising the following steps: a) preparing or providing an inhomogeneous, ferrous scrap composition; b) comminuting the inhomogeneous, ferrous scrap composition in a comminution unit in order to obtain a comminuted material; c) separating organic and/or inorganic impurities from the comminuted material in order to obtain a pre-cleaned material; d) analysing the pre-cleaned material with one or more first detection devices in order to detect at least a first item of material information and separating out constituents of the pre-cleaned material in order to obtain a purified material, wherein the separation is performed depending on the first item of material information; and e) analysing the purified material with one or more second detection devices in order to detect at least one second item of material information; f) matching the detected second item of material information with a predefined material criterion associated with the second item of material information, wherein the purified material is output as recycled scrap if the second item of material information fulfils the associated predefined material criterion.

SIEVE SYSTEM FOR A GRINDING DEVICE, AND GRINDING DEVICE USING THIS TYPE OF SIEVE SYSTEM
20180207642 · 2018-07-26 ·

A sieve system for a grinding device permitting the processing of materials in terms of particle size, in particular the processing of solid or powder materials. The system includes a filtering portion having fine holes and designed to cooperate with a rotor of the grinding device in such a way as to press the material to be ground through said filtering portion; and a support portion having large holes, which is able to reinforce the filtering portion. The sieve can be coupled to a vibratory device. The sieve system allows for the grinding method to be operated in continuous mode, with a material flow rate through the sieve up to 50% higher than that reached with a conventional sieve.

GRATE PLATE FOR A PULP LIFTER OF A GRINDING MILL
20240390912 · 2024-11-28 · ·

A grate plate for use with a pulp lifter at a discharge end of a grinding mill. The grate plate has a leading side edge and a trailing side edge that have complementary shapes so that a series of grate plates can be mounted to the pulp lifter in a circular or annular array. The grate plate further includes one or more sections of lifter bars arranged so that the lifter bar sections on a number of adjacent grate plates complement each other to form lifter bars. The lifter bar sections are shaped so that at least portions of the resulting lifter bars are inclined or curved in a first circumferential direction. At least portions of the complementary leading and trailing side edges of the grate plate are inclined or curved in a second circumferential direction of the array. The second circumferential direction is opposite the first circumferential direction.

HAMMER FOR SHREDDING MACHINES

Shredder hammers having first and second major surfaces on opposing sides, and a circumferential edge. A mounting portion includes a mounting hole that extends from the first major surface to the second major surface, and is configured to receive a hammer mounting pin for mounting in a reducing system. The circumferential edge includes a primary impact face to initially impact materials to be reduced and a wear edge to subsequently crush and shear the material against a wall of the equipment. The hammer is biased forward on the pin to admit more material to be crushed between the wear edge and the grates.
