A cradle system for a fragmenting machine, where the cradle system holds fragmentation stock against a drum. A frame holds a screen that can be selectively released from the frame without modification, such that the screen can be placed in different positions on the frame and aligned in different orientations on the frame. A wear plate can be selectively released from the frame without modification, such that the wear plate can be placed in different positions on the frame and aligned in different orientations on the frame.

Delumper and method of delumping edible material
A delumper includes a housing defining a chamber in which edible material is received. The housing includes a screen having a plurality of holes and a plurality of inwardly extending fingers. The holes are sized such that edible material of a first diameter is capable of passing through the holes and edible material of a second, larger diameter is incapable of passing through the holes. The fingers are arranged in at least a first row, and the first row is located at or between a 5:00 position and a 7:30 position. The delumper further includes a rotatable shaft including a plurality of paddles spaced along a length of the shaft. When the shaft rotates, each of the paddles passes between adjacent fingers of the first row such that edible material located within the chamber is forced into contact with the fingers and cleaved by the paddles.
Delumper and method of delumping edible material
A delumper includes a housing defining a chamber in which edible material is received. The housing includes a screen having a plurality of holes and a plurality of inwardly extending fingers. The holes are sized such that edible material of a first diameter is capable of passing through the holes and edible material of a second, larger diameter is incapable of passing through the holes. The fingers are arranged in at least a first row, and the first row is located at or between a 5:00 position and a 7:30 position. The delumper further includes a rotatable shaft including a plurality of paddles spaced along a length of the shaft. When the shaft rotates, each of the paddles passes between adjacent fingers of the first row such that edible material located within the chamber is forced into contact with the fingers and cleaved by the paddles.

An impact reactor for comminuting material to be comminuted, comprising a cylindrical casing, a bottom, wherein the casing, the bottom and the cover enclose an impact reactor chamber, wherein a rotor is arranged in the impact reactor chamber, wherein the rotor is provided with impact elements, wherein at least one feed opening is provided for feeding material to be comminuted into the impact reactor chamber, and wherein at least one removal opening is provided for removing comminuted material and/or gaseous comminuted products from the impact reactor chamber, wherein the feed opening and/or the removal opening are closable.

System for producing livestock bedding
The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for converting metal-containing waste wood material into livestock bedding having a reduced metal content. Waste wood, such as used or broken pallets is placed in a hammermill having a screen with holes of a larger diameter. The output of that hammermill is then placed in a hammermill having a screen with holes of a smaller diameter. A crossbelt system of magnets is passed across the waste wood to remove nails and other metal contaminates from the waste wood to produce a low metal content livestock bedding having particles of a consistent size.
