A blade head for granulating strands of material comprises a blade carrier and at least one granulating blade fastened thereto. The respective granulating blade is fastened to a positioning component which bears against the blade carrier for the rough positioning of the granulating blade. For fine positioning purposes, at least one adjusting element bears against the respective granulating blade. The blade head permits simple, user-friendly and precise assembly and setting of the respective granulating blade.

Method for comminuting heat-sensitive feedstock

A method for comminuting heat-sensitive feedstock, particularly thermoplastics, rubber, caoutchouc, and elastomers, to a particle size of less than 500 m, preferably less than 425 m. Process steps are provided to achieve an economic material processing without the use of cryogenic comminution. First, a precomminution of the feedstock to a size smaller than 4 mm is performed in a rotating comminuting device through which a first process gas PG.sub.1 flows. Then, a fine grinding is performed of the precomminuted feedstock to a size smaller than 500 m, preferably smaller than 425 m, in a rotating fine grinding device through which a second process gas PG.sub.2 flows. Whereby the temperature of the precomminuted feedstock in the outlet of the fine grinding is regulated in a second control circuit by adding water to the precomminuted feedstock before and/or during and/or after the fine grinding.

The plastic mulch is caught up by a plastic mulch lifting apparatus which pulls the plastic mulch upward from the field and disposes the plastic mulch with a plastic mulch receiving bin. The apparatus may have additional systems which clean the top surface of the plastic mulch before lifting and for shredding the plastic mulch for disposal.

A plastic-dedicated shredder according to the present invention includes at least a hopper, a shredder housing located below the hopper, and a base to which the shredder housing is fixed. The shredder housing includes at least a lower hosing and an upper housing that can open and close. The shredder housing includes a rotation blade support. A rotation blade is fixed to the lower housing and arranged in a shredding chamber of the rotation blade support. The rotation blade support includes a blade support main body and a blade support segment that are separable from each other. The blade support segment is configured to be movable relative to the blade support main body to open and close the shredding chamber. In the present invention, the rotation blade support is divided into two parts, the blade support main body and the blade support segment. When cleaning the shredding chamber, the blade support segment is moved to open the shredding chamber of the rotation blade support and thoroughly clean and remove residues from the shredding chamber.

TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR PLASTIC MATERIAL

A treatment system for plastic material includes a feeding device, a treatment unit, and a plasticizing device arranged downstream thereof. The treatment unit has a comminuting device and a conveying device which are received in a housing. An outlet opening is arranged in an end region of a conveying section of the conveying device. The plasticizing device has an extruder screw which is received in an extruder housing. The extruder housing is equipped with a filling opening which is arranged so as to directly adjoin the outlet opening arranged in the housing. In the region of the outlet opening, the conveying device has a circulating direction which runs in the opposite direction of the conveying direction of the extruder screw.

A movable granulating blade includes a plurality of shearing blades below the rotary crushing blade. The granulator includes an oscillating shaft pivotably supporting the movable granulating blade so as to be oscillatable in directions in which the movable granulating blade moves toward or away from the stationary granulating blade. A driving mechanism is provided for oscillating the oscillating shaft, in which the movable granulating blade is detachably fixed to a movable blade holder and the movable blade holder is detachably fixed to the oscillating shaft.
