Grinder head cooler
An apparatus for cooling a food processing grinder head with an integrated heatsink is captively retained between two halves of a cooling pack. The heatsink and cooling pack have a circumference that matches the circumference of the grinder head thereby attaching to and in direct thermal communication with the grinder head.
EMULSIFICATION SYSTEM
An emulsion system is provided. The system includes a shaft that supports a plurality of cutting assemblies and screens in alternating order, wherein the cutting assembly rotates with respect to an in close proximity to the screen. The cutting assemblies include a plurality of cutting elements that extend radially outward from a hub and are positioned at consistent radial spacing along the perimeter of the hub. Each cutting element includes front and back edges that cut food particles in conjunction with holes within the screen, wherein the front and back edges are substantially perpendicular.
System for extracting a substance from a commodity
A system 400 for obtaining a substance from a commodity has a first apparatus 420 with first 422 and second 424 openings, a device 426 for moving the commodity through the first apparatus, and at least one blade 428 for shearing the commodity. The at least one blade 428 is positioned between the first opening 422 and the second opening 424. A second apparatus 440 has a first opening 442 and a second opening 444, with the first opening 442 being fluidly connected to the second opening 424 of the first apparatus 420. The second apparatus 440 includes a device 446 for moving the sheared commodity from the second apparatus first opening 442 to the second opening 444. A third apparatus 460 obtains the substance from the sheared commodity, including a separator 460 having a first opening 462 fluidly connected to the second opening 444 of the second apparatus 440.
Mincing machine for mincing a product
A mincing machine for mincing a product, in particular for mincing meat, includes at least one stationary hole plate and at least one rotating hole plate which interact to mince the product. The mincing machine has a rotating cutter head mounted on a shaft wherein said cutter head is arranged upstream of the interacting hole plates in the conveying direction of the product to be minced in order to interact with a stationary hole plate to mince the product.
A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR GRINDING MEAT
A method to grind meat in a grinder, comprises: providing the meat to the grinder via a hopper where the hopper includes a feeder worm for feeding the meat to a process unit. The process unit comprises a rotating processing worm and a cutting set. The rotating processing worm is configured to receive the meat from the feeder worm and convey it to the cutting set which grinds the meat. The method further comprises automatically adjusting the revolutions per minute of the rotating processing worm in response to a pressure creation in the process unit.
Grinder auger removal tool
An apparatus for removing an auger from a grinder head includes a tool member including an auger engaging portion for receiving a front shaft portion of the auger. The auger engaging portion is adapted to be received in a tool engaging portion of the front shaft to for an interference that permits a removal force applied to the tool member to be transferred to the auger.
EMULSIFICATION SYSTEM WITH SERRATED KNIVES
A cutting knife for a rotating emulsion system is provided. The knife includes a body with a bottom surface and a leading portion, the bottom surface and the leading portion collectively form a cutting edge. The body further comprises a portion that is configured to be inserted within a slot within a cutting assembly with the bottom surface and a portion of the leading portion extending outward from the slot, the cutting assembly configured to be rotated by a shaft that extends through a center hole in the cutting assembly and is fixed to the cutting assembly, wherein the leading portion is a surface of the body that faces the direction of rotation of the body as the cutting assembly is rotated, The cutting edge and the leading portion each form a plurality of serrations along at least a portion of a length thereof.
Meat grinding reclamation system
A meat grinding reclamation system is disclosed herein. The system uses a first meat grinder coaxially coupled to a second meat grinder. The first meat grinder separates meat from undesired material such as gristle, hard fat, connective tissue, sinew, and bone. Most of the meat is ground, while the undesired material is remixed into a small portion of the meat and is moved from the first grinder into the second grinder. The second grinder separates remaining meat and carrier meat from the undesired material, grinding the reclaimed meat and moving it into a bin with the originally separated meat. The waste material is moved to a waste bin. Pressurized air may be used to prevent the waste material from becoming clogged in the system.
SEPARATOR AND FEED SCREW FOR A GRINDING MACHINE
A grinding machine includes first feed screw, first head, first center pin, first knife assembly, bushing and first orifice plate. Second feed screw is coupled to first center pin and rotates within second head. Second feed screw is positioned against the bushing such that the bushing acts as a thrust bearing. Second center pin is coupled to second feed screw and is configured to rotate a second knife assembly. Second orifice plate is arranged on second center pin. Second mounting ring can be linearly adjusted relative to second head to axially position second orifice plate between a stop shoulder of second head and a lip of second mounting ring. Second feed screw may include a plurality of flights arranged in a split flight configuration including one or more ingress end flights and one or more egress end flights.
