A beater wheel for a pulverizer mill is provided. The beater wheel includes a rotatable hub disc having apertures defined therethrough and a ring disc having respective apertures defined therethrough, and a plurality of tubular ribs, disposed therebetween and weldingly coupled thereto at a tubular first end to the hub disc and at a tubular second end to the ring disc to define respective weld joints thereat. Each respective aperture in the hub disc and ring disc are sized and disposed to allow direct access therethrough to at least one respective weld joint at the respective interior surface of the first and second tubular ends for inspection and testing.

VERTICAL ROLLER MILL

A vertical roller mill includes a housing, a chute that supplies materials to be grinded to a center portion of the housing, a grinder that is provided below the chute and grinds the materials to be grinded, an exhaust pipe that is provided above the grinder, a transport mechanism that forms an air flow for transporting, to the exhaust pipe, grinded materials grinded by the grinder, and a flow-constricting flow path provided between the grinder and the exhaust pipe and narrows a flow path area for the air flow, in which the flow-constricting flow path is formed between a first flow-constricting ring provided in the center portion of the housing and a second flow-constricting ring provided to protrude from the housing toward the center portion of the housing.

The invention relates to a multi-cyclone and to a method for operating such a multi-cyclone for separating fine material and very fine material. In this context, a multi-cyclone according to the invention has multiple individual cyclones which are of essentially identical construction and which are housed in a housing that has an upper and a lower chamber. Via a supply into the lower chamber it is possible to introduce in a targeted manner cyclone regulating air which can be used to set the quantity, the fineness and/or the purity of the material separated by means of the multi-cyclone.

CLASSIFIER, PULVERIZING AND CLASSIFYING DEVICE, AND PULVERIZED COAL BURNING BOILER

A classifier including a housing to take in air flow from below into a radially outer region of an inside space; a flow deflection portion to deflect the air flow toward a center axis of the housing; and an annular rotational portion disposed rotatably in a radially inner region positioned on a radially inner side of the radially outer region, of the inside space of the housing, and configured to classify particles which accompany the air flow. The annular rotational portion includes a plurality of rotational blades arranged at intervals around a rotational axis of the annular rotational portion. The plurality of rotational blades form an outer shape of the annular rotational portion forms an angle of not greater than 75 with a segment extended in a horizontal direction from the annular rotational portion outward in a radial direction, in a side view of the annular rotational portion.
