PLUSH TOY WITH ARRAY OF TEXTILE-BASED SENSORS FOR INTERACTION DETECTION

A plush toy system comprises a plush toy body with an outer fabric layer, wherein the outer fabric layer forms an interactive surface engageable by a user, an array of textile-based pressure sensors coupled to the plush toy body proximate to the outer fabric layer, and sensor conditioning circuits coupled to the plush toy, the sensor conditioning circuits being configured to interpret signals from the textile-based pressure sensors to identify interaction between the user and the interactive surface.

In an aspect, a transformable toy is provided and includes a first rotary member and a second rotary member, which are rotatable relative to one another between first and second rotary positions. A projection member is rotationally fixed to the first rotary member, and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A helical guide is connected and a helical guide follower are connected to the second rotary member and the projection member. Relative rotation between the first rotary member and the second rotary member between the first and second rotary positions drives relative rotation between the helical guide and the helical guide follower, which in turn drives the projection member to move between the retracted and extended positions.

A method that provides a virtual presentation includes receiving a user ID on a computer, creating a user account, registering first and second real-world products on the computer responsive to receiving first and second registration codes, and linking the first and second products with the user account. Responsive to the registering, first and second virtual representations of the respective real-world products are simultaneously displayed together in a virtual room. A control interface allows a user provided access via the user ID to select one of the first and second virtual representations for control. Subsequent access to said user account provides access to both first and second virtual representations without subsequent re-entry of either the first or second registration code.

In one embodiment, a reversible toy includes a body with a first body portion having a first surface and a second body portion having a second surface, the second portion being coupled to the first portion. The first portion and the second portion together define a globoid shape, with a sealed cavity therebetween, and an interior cavity within the body. The cavity contains a stuffing separate from the portions, separates the portions, and defines the globoid shape. The body is reversible between a first and second position to alternatingly present one of the first surface or second surface defining an exterior of the body. The other of the first and second surface is alternatingly storable in the interior cavity and the first and second body portions and the stuffing collapse into the interior cavity through an opening when the body is moved between the first position and the second position.

TOY WITH IDENTIFICATION CODE

A novel optically readable identification code and a toy with identification code with which a toy main body can be prevented from having the appearance compromised as much as possible are provided. A toy with identification code 10 includes a toy main body 11 with a surface provided with an identification code portion 12 including an optically readable identification code 13. The identification code 13 includes a plurality of dark color portions and a plurality of light color portions, and a chromatic color having an intensity lower than an intensity of a chromatic color used for the dark color portions is used for the light color portions.
