Method for removing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from waste water
Disclosed is a method for enhancing the removal of a per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) component from waste water using a cationic polymer (e.g., a cationic polymer flocculant or coagulant). The cationic polymer enables gas that is diffused through the waste water to carry at least a portion of the PFAS component to the surface of water, creating a foam that can then be removed.
SULFONATED MODIFIERS FOR FROTH FLOTATION
Improved sparge compositions for reverse froth flotation separation and uses thereof, and methods of reverse froth flotation are described. The sparge compositions comprise sulfonated polymeric modifiers which can act as dispersants and depressants, and the compositions are suitably used in the reverse froth flotation of particulate material containing ultrafine particles. For example, the compositions and methods can be used in the separation of iron oxide beneficiary from iron ores comprising silica, silicates, and the like.

COMBINED COLLECTOR FOR ZINC OXIDE ORE FLOTATION AND USE THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a combined collector for zinc oxide ore flotation, including the following components in percentage by mass: 60-95 wt % of a fatty acid, 0-10 wt % of a hydroxamic acid and 5-35 wt % of a mercaptobenzothiazole. In the flotation process of zinc oxide ore, due to the use of the combined collector of the present disclosure, it is not required to deslime. On the premise of ensuring the zinc grade in the zinc concentrate, the flotation recovery rate of the zinc concentrate is improved and the zinc grade of mineral processing tailings is reduced by using the combined collector, thereby reducing the loss of zinc metal.

METHOD FOR TREATING AQUEOUS EFFLUENT
The invention concerns a flocculation formulation. The invention also concerns the treatment of mine tailings in the form of aqueous effluents comprising solid particles. With the method of the invention, it is possible to separate all or part of the water from an aqueous effluent comprising solid particles.
Flotation reagents and flotation processes utilizing same
Methods of enhancing recovery of value sulfide and/or precious metal-bearing minerals from an ore containing such minerals as well as Mg-silicate, slime forming minerals, and/or clay by adding a froth phase modifier agent to the ore, and subjecting the ore to a froth flotation process performed under acidic conditions, are provided herein.
