ULTRAFINE BUBBLE CLEANING METHOD USING ULTRAFINE BUBBLE-CONTAINING LIQUID, APPARATUS THEREFOR, AND DISSOLVED AIR FLOATATION APPARATUS
An ultrafine bubble cleaning apparatus uses a liquid containing ultrafine bubbles having a size of less than 30 nm to rinse fine particles adhered to soil, sand, etc. to separate and collect the fine particles. The ultrafine bubble cleaning apparatus includes a water tank-shaped reservoir, a stirring device, a supernatant discharge device including a pump for discharging a supernatant of the liquid in the reservoir, and a sedimentation extraction device. Substances are loaded into the ultrafine bubble-containing liquid stored in the reservoir, and the ultrafine bubble-containing liquid is repeatedly brought into contact with the surface of the substance using the stirring device. When ultrafine bubbles get into a space between fine metal particles adhered to the surfaces, cracks, and pits of the substances to be cleaned (including metal ions) and fine particles of organic substances including a solvent, a chemical, and oil, the fine particles are separated and floated.
Flotation plant and its uses, a method of changing a flotation tank in a tank module and a method of changing a module
A flotation plant includes a tank module which includes a self-supporting framework having an inner space. The tank module includes at least one flotation tank. The flotation tank is disposed in the inner space of the self-supporting framework. The tank module is a self-supporting unit capable of being transferable and hoistable as an integral entity. The flotation plant includes at least two drive units for the rotation of drive shafts, each drive shaft being connected to a rotor for mixing and/or forming bubbles in the flotation tank. An overflow receptacle is disposed at the level of the upper part of the tank module for receiving an overflow from the flotation tanks. The flotation plant includes an overflow channel which is connected to the overflow receptacle for receiving and conducting the overflow from the overflow receptacle to a pumping means. The overflow channel is disposed outside the tank module.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR SEPARATING THROUGH FOAM
An apparatus for foam separation comprises a foam separation cell (12; 112; 212) provided with a treatment chamber (13), inside of which a flow of liquid containing material to be separated can be introduced. The apparatus further comprises one or more devices (21, 27) for introducing and/or generating air bubbles, useful to carry out the foam separation between the hydrophobic material and the hydrophilic material.
System and Method for Foam Fractionation
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a foam fractionation method and system that include a foam collection container having a body, a collection tube coupled to the collection container, and a foam collection conduit coupled with foam removal piping disposed within a chamber formed by the body of the collection cone. The collection container and the collection tube are coupled to allow for pressurization within the chamber. A mouth of the foam collection conduit is operable to receive foam.
Flotation line
A flotation line for treating mineral ore particles suspended in slurry is disclosed. The flotation line includes a scavenger part and a scavenger cleaner part. The flotation line is characterized in that the scavenger part or the scavenger cleaner part includes a flotation cell with blast tubes for introducing slurry infeed into the flotation cell; or in that the scavenger part or the scavenger cleaner part is followed by a flotation cell with blast tubes for introducing slurry infeed into the flotation cell. Further, a use of the flotation line is presented, as well as a flotation plant including a flotation line according to the invention.
Method and plant for treatment of aqueous dispersion
A plant for treatment of a waste water stream comprising fat includes pre-treatment apparatus for removal of liquid oil and gross contaminants, a flow-through assembly for electrocoagulation treatment of a liquid, a floc-separation apparatus arranged for removal of a flocculated fat-containing layer from the aqueous dispersion to provide clarified aqueous solution for disposal and a controller arranged to control voltage and/or current across the electrodes and the flow of the waste water stream through the components of the plant. Also disclosed are methods for using the plant to provide efficient separation with minimized power consumption as flow and contaminant level vary.
Apparatus for manufacturing potassium compound and method of recovering potassium compound from brine
The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a potassium compound and a method of recovering a potassium compound from a brine, and provides the apparatus for manufacturing the potassium compound, including: a continuous pre-treatment apparatus including a crushing portion, a pulverization portion, and a particle size separation portion for processing a mixed raw material salt obtained after lithium, magnesium, and calcium are extracted from a brine to have a particle size for easy separation and sorting; a continuous potassium compound lump recovering apparatus continuously separating and recovering the potassium compound from the pre-treated mixed raw material salt; a continuous potassium compound separating and sorting apparatus continuously separating and sorting potassium chloride and a glaserite (Na.sub.2SO.sub.4.3K.sub.2SO.sub.4) from the recovered potassium compound; and a continuous potassium sulfate conversion apparatus extracting potassium sulfate from the separated glaserite.
Recovering valuable material from an ore
A method of recovering gold and copper from a sulfide ore includes (a) removing valuable fines from a product stream from a comminution circuit, such as a crushing and milling circuit, for run of mine ore and producing a valuable fines concentrate stream and (b) processing the remaining comminution product stream after valuable fines removal and producing a valuable coarse concentrate stream.
FLOATING CHOPPER SLUDGE WEIR
A system for consolidating and removing contaminate such as paint sludge or oils from a fluid mixture. A contaminate tank receives a supply of the fluid mixture containing contaminate from a source such as a manufacturing line where overspray of paints or cleaning solutions containing washed away oils are collected. A free floating weir floats on the surface of the contaminate tank and mechanically separates and removes contaminate from a surface of the contaminate tank and concentrates contaminate in a consolidation tank. The free floating weir is equipped with several features that enhance the ability of the free floating weir to remove contaminate without becoming clogged.
