LIQUID DISPENSING NOZZLE AND SUBSTRATE TREATING APPARATUS
The inventive concept relates to a liquid dispensing nozzle and an apparatus for treating a substrate. The liquid dispensing nozzle includes a first fluid channel that is formed in the nozzle and through which a processing liquid flows and a second fluid channel in communication with the first fluid channel, the second fluid channel being connected to a dispensing end of the nozzle. The second fluid channel has a larger width than the first fluid channel, and a central axis of the first fluid channel and a central axis of the second fluid channel are connected with each other in a straight line.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR HOT MELT ADHESIVE APPLICATION
A hot melt adhesive applicator with one or more air outlets configured to direct a pressurized heated air stream transversely toward hot melt adhesive discharged through a discharge port of the applicator. A controller can switch between two modes, a discharge completion mode where the heated air stream pressure is temporarily increased to automatically eliminate or reduce hot melt adhesive stringing and an application mode where the heated air stream assists in heating or maintaining the hot melt adhesive at or above melt temperature.
FLUID CHANNEL
A fluid channel of a container processing system for processing containers, such as bottles, is described, the container processing system comprising a blow molding machine and a container processing machine arranged downstream of the blow molding machine in the process direction. The fluid channel is arranged downstream of the blow molding machine and upstream of the downstream container treatment machine in the process direction and comprises at least one component, through which the fluid can flow and which comprises at least one outlet opening through which the fluid can escape from the fluid channel in the direction of a bottom of a container transported in the process direction. The component is produced by a generative manufacturing method.
Dry steam cleaning a surface
A device and method for cleaning a surface using dry steam is disclosed. A dry steam wand is fitted with a custom nozzle that permits the dry steam to be angled to clean difficult to access surfaces of a gas turbine. The nozzle includes a slit that is configured to maintain sufficient temperature and pressure to effectively remove contaminants found on gas turbines.
Electrohydrodynamic atomization nozzle emitting a liquid sheet
Embodiments for producing un-agglomerated, monodisperse droplets using a liquid sheet are provided. Nozzles with exit slit openings shape a spray liquid into a thin liquid sheet as the spray liquid exits from the slit opening. Stable multi-jet operation is achieved by including notches along the edge of the slit. The notches separate the liquid sheet into multiple jets to provide anchoring and stable multi jet operation. In some embodiments, the liquid sheet electrospray techniques and nozzles described herein provide high mass throughput and versatile multiplexing spray systems while reducing the engineering effort and high manufacturing cost.
Liquid ejecting device and method of liquid ejection
The liquid ejecting device uses pressurized gas to eject liquid as a spray of fine particles and is provided with internal gas-flow passageway to supply pressurized gas, and a nozzle section with a slit-shaped liquid ejecting opening to discharge liquid. The nozzle section is near the end of the an elongated main unit of the liquid ejecting device, and gas jet openings to discharge pressurized gas are established between inclined nozzle surfaces and sidewalls of the main unit. The liquid ejecting opening is connected with liquid-flow passageway and the gas jet openings are connected with the gas-flow passageway. Viewed in cross-section, the inclined nozzle surfaces are formed such that their extensions intersect above the liquid ejecting opening on a line extending from the liquid ejecting opening, and pressurized gas is discharged as jets along the inclined nozzle surfaces to intersect in a manner that sandwiches the liquid in between and breaks-up the liquid-flow to produce a spray of fine particles.
Fan orifice dispensing closure
A dispensing closure for a squeeze-type container produces a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment. The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.
Spray cap for container
A spray cap for a spray container constitutes a one-piece moulding of polymeric material and includes a cap plate in which a plurality of spray slits is formed. Integral with the cap plate is a non-return valve arranged to permit air to flow through it in one direction which, in use, is towards the interior of the spray container but substantially to prevent flow of air through it in the opposite direction.

A system and method for the application of friction-modifying coatings to roadways, walkways, pathways and other areas subject to vehicular, human or animal traffic, the system and method comprising the controlled, simultaneous application of binder and filler to a surface of a substrate, using a mobile device which passes over the substrate as the binder and filler are being applied. The system includes a frame coupled to a vehicle. A binder applicator is mounted on the frame and includes an array of spray nozzles coupled to a resin container. An air knife is mounted on the frame and coupled to an air compressor for generating an air curtain. An aggregate dispenser bar including at least one aggregate dispenser is coupled to an aggregate bin and mounted on the frame for dispensing aggregate.
