10233877 · 2019-03-19 · ·

An apparatus and a method are provided for an air filter cleaning wand for flushing contaminants from an intake air filter of an automobile engine. The air filter cleaning wand comprises a proximal flange, a conduit, and a distal end portion. The proximal flange is configured to receive a nozzle of a water hose. An interior of the conduit is in fluid communication with the proximal flange. The distal end portion comprises a plurality of longitudinally aligned vents in fluid communication with the interior of the conduit. Upon passing water through the water hose and into the conduit, pressurized water streams exit the vents along the distal end portion so as to flush contaminants from the air filter. The air filter cleaning wand advantageously is comprised of a material which is sufficiently durable and temperature resistant to retain its configuration during operation when coupled to pressurized water sources.

A system and method include a frame member and an applicator. The frame member includes a hollow frame and a distribution component arranged in the interior of the frame. The distribution component includes a base component and a conduit on its exterior surface. The applicator delivers a fluid, which can include an anti-corrosion material, to the distribution component, which fluid is then delivered by the conduit throughout the interior of the frame and ejected through discharge openings of the conduit onto the interior surface of the frame to coat the frame with the fluid. The fluid may form an anti-corrosion coating on the interior surface of the frame.

Ice cream mould table with spray nozzle arrangement

An ice cream mould table for moulding ice cream products, comprising a plate that has a plurality of mould pockets that each protrude from a bottom side of the plate, and a spray nozzle arrangement including a plurality of spray nozzles that is arranged to spray heating fluid on the exterior of the mould pockets to facilitate releasing of ice cream from the mould pockets. At least one spray nozzle comprises a first spray opening arranged to spray heating fluid towards a target mould pocket and in a first direction that is inclined by a first angle relative the vertical direction, and a second spray opening arranged to spray heating fluid towards the target mould pocket and in a second direction that is inclined by a second angle.

SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL DEVICE

A snow and ice removal device may be used to prevent and remove snow and ice accumulation from one or more roof surfaces of a vehicle. The device may include one or more, such as a plurality, of vent apertures which may be in communication with a compressor that may be configured to deliver pressurized air to the vent apertures. A heating element may be disposed proximate to the vent apertures. The vent apertures and heating element may be coupled to a roof surface of the vehicle. A control unit may be configured to govern the flow of pressurized air through the vent apertures and to govern the ability of the heating element to produce heat. Heat may be applied to the roof surface by the heating element to loosen and accumulated ice or snow, and pressurized air from the vent apertures may dislodge and propel the ice or snow from the roof surface and off the vehicle. The device may include a solar panel which may be configured to deliver electrical power to one or more elements of the device.

Wide pattern nozzle

The invention relates, inter alia, to a device (10) for applying a plurality of threads (17) of a fluid, such as adhesive or lotion, to a moving web-like substrate (11), having a plurality of outlet openings (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) for the threads of fluid (17, 17a, 17b, 17c), wherein each outlet opening is disposed between a pair of flow openings (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d, 16e), through which a flow fluid (21), in particular compressed air, flows in order to achieve thread oscillation. The special feature consists, inter alia, in that the outlet openings are disposed along a curved path (22, 22).

Airless cosmetics dispenser

A product dispenser is provided that includes a container within a shell, and a pump and insert for dispensing the product. A spring biases the container and pump away from the tip of the shell. The bottom of the container is pushed up relative to the shell to activate the pump, thereby dispensing the product.

Agricultural sprayer with multi-section foldable boom

An agricultural sprayer including an applicator boom which itself includes a centre boom frame and a pair of multi-section boom side assemblies. Each side assembly is mounted by a respective hinge to the centre boom frame. Neighbouring boom sections are mutually connected by a hinged joint which permits folding around an upright axis from a deployed operating configuration to a transport configuration. A spring and damper mechanism is associated with the hinged joint for controlling pivoting movement around the upright axis between said two boom sections.

PROCESSES AND TOOLING ASSOCIATED WITH COATING APPLICATION

A drench system includes a rotating mount to rotate a workpiece, a showerhead to dispense a fluid onto the workpiece; and a tray to collect the fluid and recirculate the fluid to the shower. A method of repairing or remanufacturing a coating includes abrading a surface to at least partially remove a portion of a coating to leave an abraded surface; applying a sol-gel over the abraded surface; applying a corrosion resistant primer onto the sol-gel; and applying an erosion coating onto the corrosion resistant primer.

Positioning system for a sprayer boom

A positioning system, for a boom having right and left boom arms, comprises: a first actuator for moving the right boom arm relative to a support frame; a second actuator for moving the left boom arm relative to a support frame; a first hydraulic link between the first and second actuators; and a hydraulic control device for controlling movement of hydraulic fluid within the first hydraulic link, thereby controlling extension and/or retraction of the first and second actuators.

Drip emitter

A drip irrigation emitter includes first and second members and a deformable membrane. The membrane is located between the members, and pins that are located on the first member are received within holes formed in the second member. End portions of the pins that project out of the holes are deformed and by that press the first and second members together and compress the membrane.
