A circular ring is attached to lower ends of the first to fourth legs, a center of the circular ring coinciding with the central axis, and the first to fourth legs being spaced apart about the circumference of the circular ring. First and second arms are attached to the first and second legs, respectively. In addition, a cross bar can be attached to the circular ring and extend across a diameter of the circular ring.
Nozzle tips with reduced cleaning time
The invention relates to nozzle tips including a nozzle body and a tip portion, configured to minimize the accumulation of a resin on the nozzle tip as it is dispensed through the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can contain a central flow channel and an internal portion that branches and guides the resin into multiple exiting flow channels that define tangential pathways to the outer surface of the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can include grooves that define extended, sharply angled flow paths for the resin. Nozzle tips can have a neck portion separating a nozzle body and a tip end of the nozzle tip; here, a doughnut-shaped space located around the neck portion can be defined by the base of the nozzle, the crown of the nozzle, and the neck portion, for encouraging turbulent flow of the resin to scour the nozzle tip during dispensing.
Sample pretreatment device
Provided is a sample pretreatment device configured to apply, to the surface of a sample, a solution in which a predetermined substance is dissolved or dispersed. In order to properly and efficiently unclog a nozzle due to the deposition of the crystal of a matrix substance, the device includes a spray unit (3) including a solution tube (32) for the solution to pass through, a gas tube (33) for a spray gas to pass through, and a nozzle part (30) configured to spray the solution arriving at the terminal end of the solution tube by ejection of the spray gas through the gas tube, as well as a cleaning liquid supplier (4, 41) configured to put a cleaning liquid on an opening of the nozzle part from outside the spray unit.
FIRE PROTECTION SPRINKLER WITH A PUSH-IN CONNECTION
A fire protection sprinkler with a push-in connection includes a sprinkler body having an input orifice for receiving fluid and an output orifice for outputting the fluid, the body having a push-in connection at the input end and a base portion. The push-in connection is adapted to be connected to a pipe fitting by insertion and has a plurality of recesses, a first recess having a first gasket, a second recess having a second gasket, and a third recess having a retaining clip. A frangible element is held in place by a set screw and a stopper. The frangible element is designed to fail at a predetermined temperature to release the stopper. A deflector is positioned on the base portion and configured to direct the output fluid toward the output end, upon activation of the sprinkler by failure of the frangible element at the predetermined temperature.
DEVICE FOR PROVIDING MIST TO A SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
The invention relates to a device (10) for providing mist to a surrounding environment, the device (10) comprising a housing unit (12) having an inlet opening (18), an outlet opening (20), and a chamber (22) extending between the inlet opening (18) and the outlet opening (20) along a central axis (24); a nozzle unit (14) including at least one orifice (26); wherein the nozzle unit (14) is arranged in the chamber (22), the nozzle unit (14) being slidable along the central axis (24) between a closing position, in which the nozzle unit (14) closes the outlet opening (20), and an opening position, in which the at least one orifice (26) connects the chamber (22) to the surrounding environment in fluid communication; wherein the nozzle unit (14) transfers from the closing position to the opening position if a fluid pressure at the inlet opening (18) exceeds a predefined threshold; wherein the nozzle unit (14) comprises a deflector part (28) for deflecting fluid in the opening position and for closing the outlet opening (20) in the closing position, wherein the at least one orifice (26) is arranged offset to the central axis (24) between the inlet opening (18) and the deflector part (28); wherein the at least one orifice (26) is configured to guide fluid flowing through the at least one orifice (26) and to lead the fluid towards the deflector part (28). The invention provides an improved device (10) for providing mist to a surrounding environment, which reduces the required amount of fluid and increases the efficiency of the fluid distribution.
