Cleaning apparatus for sensor
A sensor-cleaning apparatus includes an upper piece, a lower piece fixed to the upper piece, a plurality of inserts inserted into the upper piece, and a plurality of nozzles. The upper piece and the lower piece form a tubular segment that is elongated along an arc of a circle and encloses a chamber. Each nozzle is formed of the upper piece and one of the inserts. Each nozzle includes a deflection surface and a tunnel from the chamber to the deflection surface, and each tunnel is partially formed of the upper piece and partially formed of the respective insert.
Pavement coating system having shiftable spray bar
A coating applicator vehicle is configured to selectively discharge a flow of liquid emulsion and aggregate onto a roadway. The vehicle includes a rolling chassis and a powered spraying assembly supported by the chassis. The spraying assembly includes a spray bar assembly including a shiftable spray boom and a plurality of spray nozzles.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FIRE SUPPRESSION IN A CORRIDOR
A corridor sprinkler includes a frame, a seal, a thermally-responsive trigger, and a deflector. The frame defines a passageway between an inlet and an outlet along a longitudinal axis, the passageway having a nominal K-factor greater than or equal to 8.0. The seal is coupled with the outlet to prevent fluid flow out of the passageway while the seal is in an unactuated state. The thermally-responsive trigger changes the seal from the unactuated state to an actuated state to allow fluid to flow out of the passageway. The deflector is coupled with the frame and distributes fluid received at the inlet at a pressure of between 8 psi and 250 psi and through the passageway to provide a coverage area of between 220 square feet and 400 square feet and a polygonal spray pattern with a long axis length of between 28 feet to 36 feet.
Pendent Vertical Sidewall Window Sprinklers, Systems and Methods of Fire Protection
Pendent vertical sidewall fire protection sprinklers, systems and methods for the protection of windows are provided. The sprinklers include a fluid deflection member with an impact surface and an adjacent retention surface having one or more arcuate surface profiles to define a fluid throw channel. The sprinklers and their system installation provide for a maximum sprinkler-to-sprinkler spacing that ranges from over eight feet to fifteen feet (8+ ft. to 15 ft.).
Apparatus and method for sanitizing
An apparatus and system that efficiently and effectively delivers a sanitizing fluid to ducts in the form of a fog or mist is described. A canister that contains a liquid sanitizing solution is attached to a compressor and includes a straw that has an internal passageway that extends into the liquid and a venturi tube above the level of the liquid that connects with the internal passageway in the straw. The headspace above the liquid in the canister is pressurized, causing fluid to flow upwardly in the straw when a trigger is depressed, drawing fluid upwardly in part by the venturi. As the liquid passes the venturi the pressurized air that is flowing into the venturi causes the fluid to form a fine mist. The mist, under pressure from the compressor, is routed into a flexible delivery tube that has been previously positioned in a duct system. The terminal end of the tube has an atomizing ball attached thereto and the atomizing ball has a series of orifices through which the misted, atomized fluid is delivered. As fogged sanitizing solution flows through the orifices it is deposited on the interior surfaces of the duct. The delivery tube and the attached atomizing ball are withdrawn from the duct as the sanitizing fog is emitted from the ball. The fan in the HVAC system is not activated so there is no deliver of the sanitizer through registers and into the living space. The apparatus and method may be used to apply other fluids to other surfaces.
Spray bar deflection tray
A spray trough is described herein, including a trough body, wherein the trough body has a bottom portion, a first side portion, a second side portion, a front portion, and a back portion, the bottom portion, the front portion, and the back portion each having a first end and a second end, a top plate having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the top plate is fixedly attached to the second end of the back portion, wherein the top plate extends substantially perpendicular from the second end of the back portion, and a deflector plate, wherein the deflector plate is attached to the second end of the front plate, wherein the deflector plate extends downwardly from the second end of the front plate, such that the deflector plate angles towards the front portion.
AIR VALVE COMBINING TYPED POLYURETHANE FOAM EJECTION DEVICE FOR TIRE
An embodiment of the present invention provides an air injection valve-integrated spray for spraying and applying polyurethane foam to a desired portion of a tire. The spray includes a polyurethane foam chamber disposed at an end of a coupling portion and keeping polyurethane foam under pressure and an air delivery chamber delivering air injected from an air injection valve to a breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber, in which the breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber is broken by air coming out of the air delivery chamber, so the polyurethane foam is sprayed.
Sprinkler assemblies
A sprinkler assembly including an outlet frame defining a sprinkler longitudinal axis and an outlet with a pair of frame arms defining a first plane. A deflector is coupled to the frame arms with the deflector having an upper surface and a lower surface orthogonal to the longitudinal sprinkler axis. The deflector includes a plurality of tines defining a plurality of slots between the tines. The tines include a terminal portion having a terminal edge. A first symmetric tine is aligned with the pair of frame arms with the first symmetric tine being symmetric about the first plane and a second symmetric tine is symmetric about a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. A pair of asymmetric tines is disposed about and adjacent the first symmetric tine with the terminal edge of the first symmetric tine closer to the second plane than the terminal edges of the asymmetric tines.
FLUID SPRAY NOZZLE FOR CLEANING DEVICE FOR AN OPTICAL DETECTION SYSTEM
A nozzle for spraying (20) a fluid, suitable for being arranged on a body of a cleaning device of an optical detection system mounted on a motor vehicle, comprises an internal distribution duct which extends between a proximal end, suitable for being fluidly connected to a fluid distribution channel arranged in the body, and a distal end (38) forming a fluid outlet orifice, the distribution duct being defined at least by a back wall and two opposite lateral walls (64), the nozzle further comprising a ramp (70) arranged on the path of the fluid at the outlet orifice. The lateral walls (64) are arranged at the distal end (38) of the distribution duct so as to be distanced from one another, the distribution duct flaring in the direction of the ramp (70).
Cleaning device for vehicle-mounted camera
An air passage and two lines of cleaning liquid paths are provided in a nozzle, and the air passage is bifurcated into two lines of distal end portions. Then, a distal end portion of the cleaning liquid path and the distal end portion of the air passage are merged. Thus, if the compressed air is supplied to the air passage, the resulting air flow causes a negative pressure on the downstream side. This enables making a cleaning liquid into the form of a mist and suctioning it, and to mix the cleaning liquid in the form of a mist with the compressed air, whereby it is possible to clean the lens surface and to reduce the amount of the cleaning liquid used.
