Electrostatic spraying system
A lubricant dispensing system having particular utility for applying a tightly controlled thin line of lubricant about the perimeter of cans as they are processed. The lubricant dispensing system includes an electrostatic spray head having a nozzle body that defines a lubricant receiving chamber for electrically charging lubricant therein and a capillary tube supported by the nozzle body having an inlet end communicating with the lubricant receiving chamber and an outlet that defines a discharge orifice of the electrostatic spray head. The capillary tube has a diameter between about 0.2 and 0.3 inches for directing electrostatically charged lubricant onto an item to be lubricated in a controlled thin line having a width no greater than 0.125 inches. The electrode is adjustably positionable relative to the capillary tube for selectively controlling the rate of discharging lubricant, and the electrode is configured for enhancing electrostatic charging of lubricant through the capillary tube.
Spray nozzle assembly for steam-desuperheating, steam-desuperheating device using same, and method of steam-desuperheating using same
A nozzle assembly for spraying cooling fluid in a steam-desuperheating device, includes: a nozzle body; a plug element movably attached to the nozzle body; and a splitter member fixed to a front face of the plug element. The splitter member has at least one splitter arm extending across the flow passage formed in the nozzle body as viewed from the front of the plug element to deflect flow of fluid sprayed through the flow passage.
Greenhouse
A greenhouse comprises a support frame and a spray pipe including pipes and pipe joints, the pipe joint comprises a connecting pipe and two rotary sleeves, the two adjacent pipes are respectively inserted into the connecting pipe, ends of a first pipe are respectively sleeved with a sealing sleeve and a locking sleeve, and each of the ends of the first pipe is further sleeved with a washer. When the rotary sleeve is thread-tightened, the connecting pipe and the locking sleeve are capable of respectively abutting and pressing against two sides of the washer, under abutting and pushing of the rotary sleeve and limiting of the washer, the locking sleeve is capable of grasping the first pipe and forming an axial positioning with the rotary sleeve. An inner edge of an end surface of the connecting pipe has a sealing tapered surface capable of acting on the sealing sleeve.
Device for injecting a cryogenic fluid through the base of a mixer
The invention relates to a device for injecting a fluid, in particular a cryogenic fluid, the device comprising a fluid feed head and a fluid dispenser body, detachably mounted on said feed head, said feed head comprising a groove for circulating the fluid fed to said body, said groove being closed when the body is mounted on the feed head and said groove being open when the feed head and the body are detached from one another.
Control Device for Fuel Injection Device
Provided is a control device of a fuel injection device which can stabilize a behavior of a valve even when a voltage of a voltage source varies, and can reduce a deviation of an injection amount. The fuel injection device includes a valve and a coil which generates a magnetic attraction force to attract a movable element which drives the valve. A control device applies a predetermined voltage to the coil on the basis of an injection pulse, causes a drive current to flow to the coil until the drive current reaches a maximum current, drives the valve by attracting the movable element, and injects fuel. The drive current flowing to the coil is lowered from the maximum current before the valve reaches a desired maximum lift position, and a constant voltage lower than a predetermined voltage or 0 V is continuously applied to the coil until the valve reaches the desired maximum lift position.
Adjustable arc of coverage cone nozzle rotary stream sprinkler
A cone valve assembly including an upper valve member with a conical top portion and a stepped and spiraled top surface and a lower valve member including a central opening with a stepped and spiraled valve surface surrounding the central opening. The upper valve member is mounted in the lower valve member such that the lower valve member is rotatable and axially movable relative to the upper valve member. Rotation of the lower valve member allows for the adjustment of an arcuate slot opening that provides a conically shaped discharge stream of water from the cone valve nozzle assembly directly onto the rotating distributor to provide the desired arc of sprinkler coverage.
FLUID DISPENSER HAVING A DISCHARGE HEAD
A fluid dispenser having an accumulator and a discharge head. The discharge head is secured to a base unit of the dispenser, which base unit includes a fluid accumulator. The discharge head has a housing displaceable relative to the base unit for actuating the dispenser. The discharge head has an inlet through which fluid travels from the fluid accumulator into the discharge head, and a discharge opening through which the fluid is delivered into the atmosphere. A swirling chamber having an inlet channel is provided between the fluid inlet and the discharge opening so that inflowing fluid is provided with a swirl which forms a spray stream when exiting the discharge opening. The swirling chamber is switched between a first and a second configuration by changing the geometry of its walls and/or the inlet channel.
Faucets providing water-and-air flow
A faucet having a faucet base, a water hose, a faucet head, and a chamber is provided. A water valve is provided in the chamber and includes a driving member and a control valve movable between a first position enabling mixing of water and air and a second position enabling shut-off of a water flow. The faucet head further includes a control member movably coupled with the faucet head to enable operating the control valve within the water valve using magnets by operating the control member from or near a side of the faucet head.
Rotary Nozzle
An irrigation nozzle with a rotating deflector is provided whose rotational speed may be controlled by a friction brake. The nozzle may also include an arc adjustment valve having two portions that helically engage each other to define an opening that may be adjusted at the top of the sprinkler to a desired arcuate length. The arcuate length may be adjusted by pressing down and rotating a deflector to directly actuate the valve. The nozzle may also include a radius reduction valve that may be adjusted by actuation of an outer wall of the nozzle. Rotation of the outer wall causes a flow control member to move axially to or away from an inlet.
DRIP IRRIGATION CONTROL ASSEMBLY
A drip irrigation control assembly for selectively turning off nipples on a drip irrigation system includes nipple that is fluidly coupled to a drip irrigation tube for irrigating a plant. A cap is positionable on the nipple to inhibit a fluid from dripping from the nipple. A pair of wings is provided and each of the wings is coupled to and extends outwardly from the cap for gripping and twisting the cap.
