Multi-function sprayhead
A sprayhead includes a body having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The body includes a fluid inlet proximate the first end and a fluid outlet proximate the second end. The sprayhead includes a first disc fixed to the body, a second disc moveably coupled to the body, and a pin which defines an axis of rotation for the second disc. The second disc is configured to rotate about the axis of rotation and to translate in a radial direction relative to the axis of rotation while the sprayhead is in use. Rotation of the second disc relative to the first disc causes a first response, whereas translation of the second disc relative to the first disc causes a second response.
MODULATING NOZZLE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS FOR SAME
A modulating nozzle assembly for use with an agricultural sprayer includes a nozzle base having a base edge. A spray modulating element, such as a shuttle, is movably coupled with the nozzle base. The shuttle includes a shuttle edge. A spray port is between the nozzle base and the shuttle. The spray port includes a spray port profile, and the spray port profile is formed by the base edge and the shuttle edge. A modulation actuator is coupled with the shuttle, the modulation actuator is configured to move one or more of the shuttle edge or the base edge relative to the other of the base edge or the shuttle edge to control the spray port profile.
INJECTION NOZZLE AND INJECTION APPARATUS CONTAINING SAME
Some embodiments of this application provide an injection nozzle and an injection apparatus containing same. The injection nozzle includes a body, an injection pipe, and a baffle. The body contains a channel arranged along a height direction of the injection nozzle. A first outlet is disposed at a lower part of the channel. The injection pipe is threaded through the channel in a manner of reciprocating movement along the height direction. The baffle is connected to the body and configured to cover the first outlet when a lower end portion of the injection pipe is higher than the first outlet, and be propped open by the injection pipe when the lower end portion of the injection pipe is lower than the first outlet.
CATALYTIC PROCESSES FOR PREPARING ESTOLIDE BASE OILS
Provided herein are processes for preparing estolides and estolide base oils from fatty acid reactants utilizing catalysts. Further provided herein are processes for preparing carboxylic esters from at least one carboxylic acid reactant and at least one olefin.
NOZZLE WITH AUTOMATIC ADJUSTABLE APERTURE
A nozzle with aperture adjusted automatically in response to an independent variable. Nozzle is defined as a protruding part, conduit, valve, vent, vane, funnel, flap, or diaphragm, connected to a tube, pump, canister or source of fluid, which is any liquid, gas or flowing mixture, for the purpose of controlling the rate of flow, direction, pattern, composition or other features of the flow or mixture. The nozzle of this invention comprises an adjustable aperture and the apparatus of this invention is comprised of the nozzle and the circuitry or processor to receive a signal from at least one sensor and automatically adjust the aperture in response to the signal. The invention can be used with any variety of fluids that are liquid, gas, flowing semi-solid or combination. A preferred embodiment employs the signal from a water vapor pressure sensor to adjust the aperture of the nozzle to disperse a droplet size that creates drizzle.
GAS AND LIQUID KNIFE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A gas and liquid knife and a control method thereof are provided. The gas and liquid knife includes a chamber and a knife head. An ejection opening is provided at the knife head The knife head has a first knife lip and a second knife lip. The ejection opening is defined between a first inner wall of the first knife lip and a second inner wall of the second knife lip. The chamber is defined between the first wall plate and the second wall plate slidably connected with each other. The first knife lip connects to the first wall plate. The second knife lip connects to the second wall plate. The first knife lip and second knife lip moves relatively as the first wall plate and the second wall plate slides relatively, such that a minimum distance between the first inner wall and the second inner wall could be changed.
Adjustable jet valve
An adjustable jet valve includes a valve body containing a cold water opening, a hot water opening and a mixed water opening for outputting mixed water; a spray nozzle arranged in the valve body includes a cold water inlet and a cold water outlet connected to a cold water channel of a valve by means of the cold water opening; a spray needle assembled inside the spray nozzle forms a cold water inflow space with an inner chamber of the spray nozzle, and forms a cold water spray outlet with the cold water outlet of the spray nozzle; and a throat pipe connected to the mixed water opening of the valve body for guiding the mixed water to flow into a device using mixed water.
Spout nozzle for scum removal device and water conduit with that spout nozzle for scum removal device
A spout nozzle for a scum removal device provided in water where scum floats: a tip-end-side nozzle part of a nozzle body is formed in a flat cylindrical shape; a valve body closing a discharging opening by its own weight when pressure water is not supplied is provided in the tip-end-side nozzle part; a closing part closing an opening above the discharging opening when the discharging opening is closed is provided on the valve body; therefore, resistance is small even if it is arranged in water and moreover an interior is hardly stained by scum and the like contained in water.
Water jet device for recreational purposes, said device forming a dome
A water jet device for recreational purposes, in particular a fountain, having: a jet head with at least one water infeed opening and at least one set of water outlet nozzles, the nozzles being arranged in a same plane and on a peripheral line of the jet head, the nozzles including respective outlets oriented towards the outside of the jet head, a water flow regulator supplying the nozzles to produce a water velocity defining a water jet, exiting each nozzle, having a selected substantially parabolic-shaped path, the water jets exiting the nozzles forming at least one dome portion, and at least one water supply column made of a rigid material and including an inlet connected to a water infeed and a water outlet connected to the opening of the jet head and mechanically integral thereto, the supply column having the selected parabolic shape to blend with the dome portion.
