An irrigation nozzle is provided with a grit diversion feature to divert grit away from the interior of the nozzle. The nozzle includes a pattern template that defines the irrigation pattern produced by the nozzle. The pattern template includes one or more flow channels that may be susceptible to clogging with grit. The grit diversion feature includes one or more grit vents to redirect grit away from the interior of the nozzle and may further include an inner wall about the central hub that helps protect the central hub from intrusion by grit.

Washing liquid distribution device for a dishwasher

A washing liquid distribution device may be provided that includes a holder and an impeller. The holder may hold the impeller within a washing chamber of a dishwasher. The impeller may include a disc-shaped body provided with a plurality of impeller blades extending from a surface of the disc-shaped body. The impeller blades may include driving blades being angled in a first direction to cause rotation of the impeller when washing liquid is directed onto the driving blades. The impeller blades may include at least one backflow blade being angled in a second direction, where the second direction is opposite to the first direction. The present disclosure may also relate to a dishwasher including a washing liquid distribution device.

Serviceable sprinkler with a nutating deflector assembly

A sprinkler assembly can include a water inlet and a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly can include a nozzle tube having a nozzle positioned at the downstream end of the nozzle tube. The sprinkler assembly can include a user replaceable wear disc at least partially surrounding the nozzle tube. A deflector assembly can be connected to the nozzle assembly and can include a distribution plate positioned downstream of the nozzle and configured to deflect water from the nozzle. The deflector assembly can include a cage having one or more arms connected to the distribution plate and extending from the distribution plate toward upstream end of the nozzle tube. The deflector assembly can include an upstream collar portion connected to the at least one arm and having one or more load surfaces configured to contact the wear disc, wherein the wear disc is configured to bear at least a majority of a weight of the deflector assembly.

Sprinkler assembly having coiled weight

A weighted inverted sprinkler assembly adapted for use with a drop hose of an irrigation system is disclosed. The assembly comprises a coiled weight formed from a coiled wire, a sprinkler fluidly associated with the drop hose, and a coiled weight support structure. A pressure regulator may be provided in fluid associated with the irrigation drop hose and the sprinkler. The coiled weight has a shape that is selected for use with a particular sprinkler assembly. The shape may be an elongated shape for use with an elongated coiled weight support structure, a beehive shape for use with a pressure regulator having a collar to support the coiled weight, and a pear shape for use with a pressure regulator having a flared housing. The coiled weight is preferably formed from a single coiled wire although two or more weights may be used in combination in a given application.

Sprinkler assembly with cap and cover

A sprinkler assembly includes a body defining an inlet, an outlet, and a fluid passage extending along a longitudinal axis between the inlet and the outlet. A guide pin aperture is defined by at least one of the body or a bushing coupled to the body. The sprinkler assembly further includes a deflector slidably coupled to the body. The deflector includes a deflector body coupled to a guide pin. The guide pin includes a shaft portion extending through the guide pin aperture and a shoulder that is wider than the shaft portion and configured to engage at least one of the body or the bushing to limit movement of the deflector body away from the body.

Sprinkler head

A sprinkler head includes a main body, a valve element, a heat-sensitive disassembling unit, a deflector, at least one strut, and a guide ring. The body includes a nozzle from which fire-extinguishing liquid is discharged. The disassembling unit keeps the nozzle closed with the valve element and opens the nozzle through a breakdown action during activation. The deflector has a receiving surface (valve-element supporting portion) and vanes extending from the receiving surface toward the body. The deflector scatters, outward in axis crossing directions of the nozzle, the fire-extinguishing liquid discharged from the nozzle and received by the receiving surface. The least one strut holds the deflector scattering the fire-extinguishing liquid. The guide ring is movable along the at least one strut and between a tip (main-body-side end portion) of the at least one strut and tips of the vanes.
