METHOD AND/OR SYSTEM FOR COATING A SUBSTRATE
A system and/or method for coating a substrate. The method may include placing a substrate on a chuck with a first side of the substrate facing upward and a second side of the substrate facing downward. A coating material may be dispensed onto the first side of the substrate. A first gas may flow through a peripheral chamber of a shield member, the first gas exiting the peripheral chamber through an outlet and flowing towards the first side of the substrate. The substrate may be rotated about a rotational axis to form a film of the coating material on the first side of the substrate.
Rotary coating product sprayer and method for controlling a surface temperature of such a sprayer
A rotary coating sprayer including a spray bowl rotating about an axis of rotation and an air turbine for driving the bowl. The turbine includes a rotor and a body forming a support for the rotor and defining at least one air feedline for a rotation chamber wherein the rotor blades are arranged. The feedline includes an intermediate chamber defined, radially to the rotation axis, between the body and a ring mounted around the body. In this way, lowering of temperature of an element of the sprayer housing due to flow of exhaust air from the turbine, is limited.
Spray unit
The invention relates to a spray unit (10) with an axle (20), an atomising disc (30), a spray direction modifying assembly (40), and a liquid applicator (50). The atomising disc is configured to spin about the axle centred on the centre of the disc. The liquid applicator is configured to apply liquid to a surface of the atomising disc. The spray direction modifying assembly is in proximity to the atomising disc. The spray direction modifying assembly comprises at least one air channel (41). The at least one air channel is configured to provide air in proximity to the atomising disc to modify the subsequent trajectory of the liquid droplets that leave the outer edge of the atomising disc.
