The sprayer body is provided with a swirl generator for generating a swirling air stream, and a power supply connected between the nozzle and the partition, to apply voltage to the nozzle and the partition. The electrospray device may be part of a fluidized bed apparatus comprising a product container, a lower plenum base, an air distribution plate resided therebetween. When the power supply applies voltage in opposite polarities to the nozzle and the partition, the fluidized bed apparatus is used for coating particles; and when the power supply applies voltage of the same, the fluidized bed apparatus is used for spray-drying a solution. The electrospray device uses an electromagnetic hydrodynamic method to improve the performance of the fluidized bed apparatus and optimize the process of product.
Control function and display for controlling spray gun
Control method and apparatus for a manual spray gun includes display that is disposed on the spray gun and that provides information to an operator about one or more coating operation parameters. An auxiliary trigger may be used that enables an operator to makes selections of one or more coating operation parameters. The display and auxiliary trigger together permit an operator to make selections without having to divert attention or field of view away from the spray gun or the coating area, especially during a coating operation.
Above-ground farming module in which the roots of the plants are fed by a nutritional mist, set of modules and associated method
The invention relates mainly to an above-ground farming module which includes an element for supporting plants defining a root chamber for the aerial portion of the plants, and which includes means for forming a mist of nutritional solution (9) and means (25, 26) for circulating said mist of nutritional solution (30) located in the root chamber (4). The means for forming the mist of nutritional solution (9) advantageously include an ultrasound mister (10) located in the bottom of a misting cell (9) on which at least one opening for propagating the nutritional mist (20) in the root chamber (4) is arranged, and the means (25, 26) for circulating the mist of nutritional solution (30) are located next to said opening (20).
Head and system for continuously manufacturing composite hollow structure
A head is disclosed for use with a manufacturing system. The head may have a housing configured to discharge a tubular structure reinforced with at least one continuous fiber and having a three-dimensional trajectory, and a cure enhancer operatively connected to the housing and configured to cure a liquid matrix in the tubular structure during discharge. The head may also have a nozzle configured to discharge a fill material into the tubular structure, and a wand extending from the housing to the nozzle.
Spacer particle distribution device
The present disclosure provides a spacer particle distribution device used for distributing spacer particles toward a surface of a glass substrate and comprising: a sealed chamber, and a base, a lift pin and multiple adsorption assemblies disposed in the sealed chamber. The adsorption assemblies are disposed correspondingly on four edge regions of the base. Each adsorption assembly is electrified independently to respectively control electrostatic adsorption force of each adsorption assembly.
Passive electrostatic CO2 composite spray applicator
An electrostatic spray application apparatus and method for producing an electrostatically charged and homogeneous CO.sub.2 composite spray mixture containing an additive and simultaneously projecting at a substrate surface. The spray mixture is formed in the space between CO.sub.2 and additive mixing nozzles and a substrate surface. The spray mixture is a composite fluid having a variably-controlled aerial and radial spray density comprising pressure- and temperature-regulated propellant gas (compressed air), CO.sub.2 particles, and additive particles. There are two or more circumferential and high velocity air streams containing passively charged CO.sub.2 particles which are positioned axis-symmetrically and coaxially about an inner and lower velocity injection air stream containing one or more additives to form a spray cluster. The axis-symmetrical CO.sub.2 particle-air streams are passively tribocharged during formation, and the spray clustering arrangement creates a significant electrostatic field and Coanda air mass flow between and surrounding the coaxial flow streams.
Charge assisted spray deposition method and apparatus
A deposition method includes: (1) providing a nozzle structure including: (a) at least one corona generator having an elongated charge emitting surface; and (b) at least one aerosol channel adapted to guide an aerosol along a flow path past the at least one corona generator; (2) generating an aerosol of a precursor solution; (3) applying to the at least one corona generator a positive or negative voltage of 1 kV-100 kV with respect to the substrate to generate a corona; and (4) flowing the aerosol through the at least one aerosol channel, along the flow path near the at least one corona generator and toward the surface of the substrate so as to charge the aerosol with ions emitted from the at least one corona generator to form charged droplets which are attracted to and deposited on the substrate, wherein the elongated charge emitting surface is a wire or blade edge, which is substantially parallel to the surface of the substrate and substantially perpendicular to the flow path, provided that the at least one corona generator does not consist of two blades. Inventive nozzle structures are also described.
