NOZZLE APPARATUS, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING SUBSTRATE
An apparatus for performing liquid treatment for a substrate is provided. The apparatus for performing the liquid treatment for the substrate may include a housing having a treatment space, a substrate support unit to support and rotate the substrate in the treatment space, a liquid feeding unit including a nozzle device including a central exhaust port and multiple first outer exhaust ports, which are provided in a shape of a ring to form a concentric circle with the central exhaust port to feed mutually different treating liquids onto the substrate through respective exhaust ports, and a controller to control the liquid feeding unit.
SPRAY CABINET FOR POULTRY PROCESSING AND METHODS THEREOF
A poultry carcass spraying cabinet having an inclined or declined section located between the entrance and exit, the inclined or declined section having a slope or angle such that the wing-area of adjacently shackled poultry carcasses being conveyed is spaced to increase spray performance of the carcass spraying cabinet, allow foreign material proximate the wing-area of the poultry carcasses to be dislodged, and thereby minimize cross-contamination during poultry processing. The spray nozzles of adjacent arbor members of the inclined or declined section being located in different horizontal planes to provide optimal spraying performance proximate the wing-area of the poultry carcass.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER
An active substance supply system for an agricultural sprayer has a main liquid circuit which includes a reservoir for a main liquid and permits circulation of the main liquid, where the main liquid circuit includes one or more distribution sections which are each configured to distribute to several dispensing elements a spray liquid to be dispensed, and a feed system which is connected to the main liquid circuit and in which the main liquid is mixed with at least one separately supplied active substance to form a liquid active substance mixture, where the active substance supply system is configured to introduce the active substance mixture into the one or more distribution sections at several places.
ELECTROHYDRODYNAMIC ATOMIZATION NOZZLE EMITTING A LIQUID SHEET
Embodiments for producing un-agglomerated, monodisperse droplets using a liquid sheet are provided. Nozzles with exit slit openings shape a spray liquid into a thin liquid sheet as the spray liquid exits from the slit opening. Stable multi-jet operation is achieved by including notches along the edge of the slit. The notches separate the liquid sheet into multiple jets to provide anchoring and stable multi-jet operation. In some embodiments, the liquid sheet electrospray techniques and nozzles described herein provide high mass throughput and versatile multiplexing spray systems while reducing the engineering effort and high manufacturing cost
CONTINUOUS VERTICAL SPRAYING OF BODIES SUCH AS CANS
A vertical internal coating machine is taught, which may be used with bodies such as cans (2 piece, 3 piece, draw, redraw,) and including cylinders, containers and any similar body. In the machine cans or similar bodies are vertical in the machine's star wheel rather than horizontal, and the bodies are sprayed with the star wheel in continuous motion without stopping and starting. The machine teaches that a plurality of spray guns may be provided for each pocket of the star wheel. By means of the machine an improved line layout is devised which may eliminate the need to raise the bodies immediately prior to a necker by allowing the vertical can internal coating machine and internal bake over to be disposed on any level of the facility, upper, lower, mezzanine, etc. In green aspects, the machine may use negative pressure cabinets/hoods and positive pressure tunnels to entrain volatile organic chemicals emitted by the spray guns and coated bodies and may send these VOCs to a VOC desctruction device, such as an oven.
SKIN COOLING APPARATUS AND METHODS
A lightweight, portable, cost-effective skin-cooling device is adapted for use with a coolant spray in an existing canister having a rim surrounding a push-activated spray tube. The apparatus comprises a housing with an inlet end that snaps onto the existing canister, an outlet end with a skin-contacting component, and a pushbutton. A tubular structure, disposed within the housing, includes an inlet end configured to engage with the push-activated spray tube of the canister, and an outlet end directed toward the skin-contacting component supported over the outlet end of the housing. Depressing the pushbutton causes the inlet end of the tubular structure to depress the push-activated spray tube, thereby causing the coolant spray to be carried though the tubular and out the outlet end thereof to cool the skin-contacting component.
MULTI-ORIFICE NOZZLE FOR DROPLET ATOMIZATION
A method of atomizing a liquid comprising providing the liquid to a liquid duct in a dispensing body, providing a gas to a gas duct in the dispensing body, and introducing the liquid into a head via a plurality of liquid duct channels. The method further includes introducing the gas into a pressure chamber of a pressure cap, the pressure cap positioned proximate the dispensing body such that the head is positioned between the pressure cap and the dispensing body. The gas is expelled through a plurality of pressure chamber exit orifices, the pressure chamber exit orifices positioned proximate a plurality of liquid supply channel exit openings via an alignment spacer defined on the head. The method includes expelling the liquid from the liquid supply channel exit openings and through the pressure chamber exit orifices, such that the liquid and the gas interact and form atomized droplets of the liquid.
The notches separate the liquid sheet into multiple jets to provide anchoring and stable multi jet operation. In some embodiments, the liquid sheet electrospray techniques and nozzles described herein provide high mass throughput and versatile multiplexing spray systems while reducing the engineering effort and high manufacturing cost.

In the machine cans or similar bodies are vertical in the machine's star wheel rather than horizontal, and the bodies are sprayed with the star wheel in continuous motion without stopping and starting. By means of the machine an improved line layout is devised which may eliminate the need to raise the bodies immediately prior to a necker by allowing the vertical can internal coating machine and internal bake over to be disposed on any level of the facility, upper, lower, mezzanine, etc. In green aspects, the machine may use negative pressure cabinets/hoods and positive pressure tunnels to entrain volatile organic chemicals emitted by the spray guns and coated bodies and may send these VOCs to a VOC destruction device, such as an oven.
TWO-FLUID NOZZLE WITH AN ARCUATE OPENING
Aspects of the present disclosure describe a two-fluid nozzle including a nozzle body. The nozzle body includes a first fluid nozzle tip having a first fluid opening formed therein. The nozzle body includes a second fluid nozzle tip comprising a second fluid opening formed therein. The first fluid nozzle tip and second fluid nozzle tip can be fluidically isolated from each other in the nozzle body. The first fluid opening and second fluid opening are each arcuate and rectangular. The second fluid opening is positioned adjacent to the first fluid opening such that, when flowing, the second fluid from the second fluid opening affects the first fluid from the first fluid opening of a first tubular member.
