Ejector having an atomization mechanism and heat pump apparatus

An ejector includes an atomization mechanism arranged at an end of a first nozzle. The atomization mechanism includes a plurality of orifices and a collision plate against which each of a plurality of jets ejected from the plurality of orifices collides. The collision plate includes a first principal surface and a second principal surface as a collision surface against which the jet collides, each of the first principal surface and the second principal surface extending toward an outlet of the ejector. The plurality of orifices includes a plurality of first orifices arranged on a side of the first principal surface of the collision plate and a plurality of second orifices arranged on a side of the second principal surface of the collision plate.

Device for Spraying Pressurized Material

Spraying heads may be used in spray guns for applying a pressurized aerosol material in the form of jets or spray. A spraying nozzle for spraying a polyurethane material includes a cylindrical body provided, on a first end, with a base having a mounting aperture extending into the cylindrical body, forming a cavity for arranging a head of a gun. The base of the nozzle is in the form of oppositely-disposed leaves. A second end of the body is provided with a cylindrical shoulder, a through-bore of which is communicated with a V-shaped and laterally non-closed recess at the region of an outlet of the sprayed material. Oppositely arranged plate-like protrusions adjoin a lateral surfaces of the cylindrical shoulder. A mounting aperture end which adjoins the base has a circumferential cut. The spraying nozzle is provided with an attachment means used when in an inoperative position.

Continuous vertical spraying of bodies such as cans

A vertical internal coating machine is taught, which may be used with bodies such as cans (2 piece, 3 piece, draw, redraw,) and including cylinders, containers and any similar body. In the machine cans or similar bodies are vertical in the machine's star wheel rather than horizontal, and the bodies are sprayed with the star wheel in continuous motion without stopping and starting. The machine teaches that a plurality of spray guns may be provided for each pocket of the star wheel. By means of the machine an improved line layout is devised which may eliminate the need to raise the bodies immediately prior to a necker by allowing the vertical can internal coating machine and internal bake over to be disposed on any level of the facility, upper, lower, mezzanine, etc. In green aspects, the machine may use negative pressure cabinets/hoods and positive pressure tunnels to entrain volatile organic chemicals emitted by the spray guns and coated bodies and may send these VOCs to a VOC desctruction device, such as an oven.

The housing extends between an inlet end and an outlet end, with the inlet end defining a first air inlet to an interior of the housing. The fan is within the housing, between the inlet end and the outlet end. The motor drives the fan. The manifold is shaped to generally correspond to that of the outlet end and has a plurality of water injector nozzles directed substantially inwardly and away from the outlet end. A distal edge of the outlet end is longitudinally spaced apart from a proximal edge of the manifold to define a second air entrainment inlet to an interior of the manifold.

A liquid spray device prevents diffusion of a poisonous gas and odor in a sprayed liquid. A base includes an ejection orifice for ejecting acidic water, first and second feed paths communicating with ejection and spray orifices to feed acidic and alkaline water, respectively. The second feed path is open so that its front end continuously makes a circuit on the side surface of the base. A rotary part is disposed to rotate along the side surface of the base. The rotary part includes the spray orifices disposed to surround the periphery of the ejection orifice. The rotary part includes communication paths communicating with the respective spray orifices and the second feed path. The respective spray orifices spray alkaline water while rotating around the periphery of the ejection orifice to surround the periphery of acidic water ejected from the ejection orifice with the alkaline water in a curtain-like manner.

Fluid through needle for applying multiple component material

Embodiments of a spray gun incorporating a needle for applying multiple component materials are provided. In accordance with certain embodiments, the spray gun includes a fluid delivery tip assembly comprising an inner passage, a hollow needle disposed within the inner passage of the fluid delivery tip assembly, wherein the hollow needle comprises at least two indentions along an outer circumferential surface of the hollow needle near an end of the hollow needle, a first passage configured to deliver a first spray fluid to a fluid tip exit of the fluid delivery tip assembly, wherein the first passage is defined by a volume between the fluid delivery tip assembly and the hollow needle, and a second passage through the hollow needle, wherein the second passage is configured to deliver a second spray fluid to the fluid tip exit of the fluid delivery tip assembly.

A coating formed of electrospray particles may be deposited to adhere on the surface of the body of material (e.g., the coating may include one or more layers of coating material, at least one layer of the one or more layers of coating material may include an open matrix coating, the open matrix coating may include one or more active ingredients, the open matrix coating may include one or more polymers and one or more active ingredients, etc.).
