A film forming apparatus, a substrate processing apparatus, and a device manufacturing method are provided, which improve the film thickness uniformity of a thin film that is formed on a substrate by spraying a thin film material. The film forming apparatus which forms a thin film on a substrate is provided with a nozzle that sprays a thin film material and an exhaust unit that discharges a gas. An exhaust port of the exhaust unit is arranged on a side that is opposite to the direction in which the gravity acts with respect to the substrate. The substrate processing apparatus performs a predetermined process on the substrate using the film forming apparatus. The device manufacturing method manufactures a device using the film forming apparatus.

Systems, method, and devices for dispensing volatile liquids

A volatile liquid dispenser includes a chamber for holding a supply of volatile liquid; a compressor configured to force a portion of the supply of volatile liquid out of the chamber and through an outlet; and a fan configured to force the portion of the supply of volatile liquid exiting the outlet into the surrounding air and away from the outlet.

FIRE-FIGHTING CANNON FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF FIRES
20250332459 · 2025-10-30 ·

A fire-fighting cannon for the management of fires, in particular in a waste disposal centre, comprises a fixed base constrainable to a ceiling or to a vertical wall of a room defining a corresponding lying plane, a tubular body extending along an emission direction of at least one jet of fire-fighting fluid. In particular, the tubular body is arranged below or alongside the fixed base with respect to a normal direction to the lying plane. The fire-fighting cannon further comprises movement means configured to orient the tubular body between a plurality of operating positions, including an initial position in which the emission direction has a predefined angle of inclination with respect to the normal direction. The movement means is configured to orient the tubular body also in a position of inversion in which the emission direction is parallel to the normal direction, so as to emit the jet of fire-fighting fluid in a zone of the ground arranged underneath the fire-fighting cannon if the fixed base is constrained to the ceiling, or in a zone with horizontal output if the fixed base is constrained to the wall.

Consumable components in fluidic sample dispensing systems and methods

Systems, devices, and methods for dispensing a of fluidic sample to each of a plurality of targets are disclosed. An example apparatus for dispensing a fluidic sample includes an inlet port to input a sample material, and a first sample nozzle and a second sample nozzle fluidically coupled to the inlet port to expel the sample material, wherein a tubular junction fluidically couples the inlet port to a first tubular fluid path that terminates in the first sample nozzle and to a second tubular fluid path that terminates in the second sample nozzle, wherein a cross-sectional area of the tubular junction is less than an average cross-sectional area of the first tubular fluid path and the second tubular fluid path, and wherein the cross-sectional area of the tubular junction is selected to draw the sample material from the inlet port into the tubular junction via capillary action.
