A silica agent applicator includes a reservoir for containing a silica agent. A hollow, deformable bulb is adapted to be squeezed to force air through a first air tube fluidly connecting the bulb and a bottom of the reservoir. A second tube extends from a top of the reservoir to an exit of the applicator, to convey aerosolized silica agent out of the applicator for application onto a surface or an insect.

FILTER REGENERATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DENITRIFICATION FACILITY
Disclosed is a filter regenerating apparatus of a denitrification facility, the apparatus including: a body module disposed above a filter installed in the denitrification facility, and capable of reciprocating in a first direction; a nozzle support module supported by the body module, and capable of reciprocating in a second direction crossing the first direction; a coating material spray nozzle detachable from the nozzle support module, and capable of spraying a coating material toward the filter disposed below; and a power control module configured to control operations of the body module and the nozzle support module so that the coating material spray nozzle is transferred along the filter in the first and second directions.
MATERIAL LAYER FORMING DEVICE
The disclosure provides a material layer forming device that can reduce scattering of a raw material blown out from a nozzle to efficiently deposit the raw material on a required portion of a blowout target surface. A fiber layer forming device 1A is a device that blows out short fibers F1 to a blowout target surface (wall surface 4b) and deposits the short fibers F1 on the blowout target surface to form a sheet-like fiber layer F2. The fiber layer forming device 1A includes a nozzle 10 having a blowout region 11c that blows out the short fibers F1. The nozzle 10 further includes a suction region 12c that is close to the blowout region 11c and sucks the short fibers F1 spreading to the outside of the blowout region 11c, among the short fibers F1 blown out from the blowout region 11c.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING POWDER
Apparatus and associated methods are provided for digitally controlled powder deposition. The apparatus comprises a supply chamber configured to maintain a reservoir of powder in a fluidised state, and one or more dispenser elements. The supply chamber is further configured to direct a flow of the fluidised powder from the reservoir to an orifice, causing it to be dispensed from the orifice.
COOLING SYSTEM AND FABRICATION METHOD THEREOF
A cooling system for a cold spray nozzle or a thermal spray barrel and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The cooling system includes a sleeve with cooling fins that encapsulate a spray nozzle or barrel to enable heat transfer from the nozzle or barrel to the fins and then to the external ambient environment. The sleeve may optionally include one or more channels with cooling tubes to enable enhanced cooling with a cooling medium flowing through the tubes and across the fins.
DISPENSER FOR BINARY VISCOUS FLUIDS WITH AGGREGATE
Apparatus for blending and applying plural substances including aggregate onto an environmental substrate is shown and described. The apparatus includes optionally a single power plant, plural pumps each fed by a respective hopper, and a blender blending pumped materials together. Dispensing ratios of the two pumps are mutually adjustable. An onboard air compressor delivers compressed air for atomizing blended materials as they are dispensed with the aggregate. Because materials may be curable or hardenable, flushing is enabled. The apparatus may be a free standing wheeled device.
DEVICE COMPRISING ROTARY NOZZLE
An apparatus includes a moving device movable along the surface of an object, and a rotary nozzle device. A rotary nozzle means comprise a plurality of jet nozzles. Two sets of the rotary nozzle means are arranged in parallel in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the moving device, are configured such that a left rotary nozzle means and a right rotary nozzle means perform a rotary motion in association with each other by a rotary transmission means. The jet nozzle of the left rotary nozzle means and the jet nozzle of the right rotary nozzle means are arranged so as to be out of phase with each other.
Applying cold spray erosion protection to an airfoil
Systems and methods are provided for applying cold spray erosion protection to an airfoil. One embodiment is a method for applying an abrasion coating to a fiber-reinforced composite substrate. The method includes applying a bond layer to the fiber-reinforced composite substrate by emitting, with a supersonic nozzle of a High Pressure Cold Spray (HPCS) system, a first gas stream including a first metal powder at a first speed below supersonic speed. The method further includes applying a cold spray deposit layer to the bond layer by emitting, with the supersonic nozzle, a second gas stream including a second metal powder at a second speed above supersonic speed.
