A drywall texture dispensing system includes an air gun that may be fluidly coupled to an air source. A reservoir is provided and the reservoir may contain a fluid. The reservoir is removably coupled to the air gun such that the reservoir is in fluid communication with the air gun. The reservoir has a diameter that is less than approximately thirty cm. Thus, the reservoir facilitates the air gun to dispense the fluid in a restricted area. A lid is removably coupled to the reservoir.

Spray gun and nozzle assembly attachment

A liquid spray gun nozzle assembly is disclosed comprising a coating liquid inlet portion comprising a liquid connector for connection to an external liquid source; a coating liquid outlet portion comprising a liquid nozzle for spraying a coating liquid fed into the nozzle assembly through the coating liquid inlet portion, the liquid nozzle being disposed along a spray axis; a coating liquid flow path fluidly connecting the coating liquid inlet portion to the liquid nozzle; and a spray gun connection portion opposite the coating liquid outlet portion adapted to connect the liquid spray gun nozzle assembly to a compatible liquid spray gun body. The spray gun connection portion comprises a nozzle assembly sealing surface adapted to seal the liquid spray gun nozzle assembly to the compatible liquid spray gun body, the nozzle assembly sealing surface comprising first and second sealing members that are each circular and concentric with one another.

CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR HAND-HELD SPRAY GUNS

Spray gun reservoir components are disclosed. The spray gun reservoir component includes a liquid outlet and an outer face, and defines a centerline plane and an attachment plane. The liquid outlet surrounds a longitudinal axis. The outer face extends away from the liquid outlet. The centerline plane passes through the longitudinal axis. The attachment plane is defined orthogonally to the longitudinal axis and the centerline plane. The outer face further comprises a retention feature extending away from the centerline plane and generally parallel to the attachment plane. In some embodiments, the spray gun reservoir component further comprises a bearing surface formed on the outer face along the attachment plane to engage with a corresponding bearing surface on a liquid spray gun attachment point, with the bearing surface comprising the retention feature.

Spray gun having internal boost passageway

A barrel (20) adapted for use with a spray gun (2) is disclosed. The barrel (20) comprises a boost feed port (44) fluidly connected to a boost passageway (48), the boost passageway (48) being integral to the barrel (20). The boost passageway (48) is adapted to convey a pressurized boost fluid originating in the spray gun (2) to a boost delivery port (56) to assist in urging a coating fluid from a compatible coating fluid reservoir (80) for spraying by the spray gun (2).

Spray head assemblies for liquid spray guns

Spray head assemblies, including an air-handling saddle that is attachable to a liquid spray gun platform, a liquid-handling core that is slidably engagable into the air-handling saddle, and an air cap; spray guns using such assemblies; and, methods of using such assemblies.

LIQUID SPRAY GUN, CONNECTOR RING, LIQUID SPRAYING APPARATUS AND ADAPTER SYSTEM

The invention provides a liquid spray gun connectable to a fluid reservoir through a fluid outlet. The spray gun comprises a socket geometry arranged for engagement with a co-operating connector for releasable connecting the spray gun with the fluid outlet. The socket geometry comprises a bore having an opening on one end, an end surface surrounding the bore's opening at least partially, and a lug portion spaced apart from the end surface in an axial direction parallel to a central axis of the bore. The lug portion has a lower surface being adapted to engage with the connector and to retain the connector in the axial direction. The end surface comprises a first keying geometry that is adapted to restrict rotation of the connector in at least one direction.

Spray gun and accessories

A spray gun with a gun body having a handle region and having a head which is equipped with a cartridge which has an angled, tubular region as an inlet for a material-conducting channel which runs through the cartridge and ends in an outlet region which is arranged at the front end of the head of the spray gun, wherein the inlet region of the cartridge is connected or is connectable to a storage container for the material to be sprayed, and wherein the cartridge preferably guides at least one material-conducting component of the spray gun. The cartridge is held fixedly, but releasably, on the head of the spray gun by means of a screw collar ring, wherein the screw collar ring is preferably supported on the cartridge and/or on or in the head of the spray gun by at least one mechanism.

PAINT GUN, MATERIAL APPLICATION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME

A paint gun for atomizing (in particular by way of compressed-air-assisted atomization) and applying a coating material such as a paint has a material-guiding part, a non-material-guiding part, and a transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission. In order to increase the functional reliability and provide optimal operability in the environment in which the coating material is applied, the transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission is arranged at a distance from the material-guiding part and is associated with the non-material-guiding part. Alternatively or additionally, an increased functional reliability is achieved by designing the transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission in accordance with two different radio standards. Furthermore, a material application system comprising such a paint gun as well as a method for operating same are described.

ON-DEMAND HIGH VOLUME, LOW PRESSURE SPRAY SYSTEM
20170239675 · 2017-08-24 ·

Various embodiments concern a sprayer having a blower that outputs a HVLP flow of air into a hose, the hose connecting with a spray gun. A pressure sensor measures pressure of the HVLP air within the hose via a tube that branches from a fitting to which the hose connects. If the sensor indicates that the pressure level has increased above a threshold amount, indicating that the trigger of the spray gun is not being actuated, then power output to the blower is reduced (e.g., stopped). HVLP air is trapped within the hose by two valves when the trigger is not actuated. When the sensor indicates that the pressure level has decreased, corresponding to release of the trapped HVLP air into the gun for spraying by actuation of the trigger, power to the blower is increased (e.g., resumed).
