SPRAY APPLICATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS COMPRISING A REPELLENT SURFACE & METHODS

Presently described are components of a spray application system, a method of making thereof, wherein at least one component comprises a liquid repellent surface layer such that the receding contact angle with water ranged from 90 degrees to 135 degrees. The liquid repellent surface (e.g. layer) may comprise a porous layer and a lubricant impregnated into pores of the porous layer; a fluoropolymer; a fluorochemical material and an organic polymeric binder; or a fluorochemical material melt additive or silicone/silane/siloxane material melt additive and a thermoplastic polymeric material component. The component is typically a liquid reservoir, a liquid reservoir liner, a lid for a liquid reservoir or liner, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the component comprises a thermoplastic polymeric material. In some favored embodiments, the component is a removable liquid reservoir or liner. In some favored embodiments, the component is a collapsible liquid reservoir or liner. The spray application system typically further comprises a gravity-fed spray gun.

MANUAL CHECK VALVE FOR PRIMING A COLLAPSIBLE FLUID LINER FOR A SPRAYER

A manual check valve for use when priming a fluid supply for a spray gun includes an orifice that opens from the fluid supply into a storage chamber, the storage chamber captures any fluid that is expelled from the fluid supply during priming, and the storage chamber is sealed with a closure. Sealing the storage chamber traps any expelled fluid in the storage chamber and prevents any of the expelled fluid from leaking onto another surface, which keeps the priming operation clean.

Apparatus and methods for dispensing and foaming of a product

A portable apparatus for dispensing and foaming of a product, including: a product container which contains a product that is to be foamed by and dispensed from the apparatus; a gas container, at least containing a gas, for example a single gas or a gas mixture, wherein the gas substantially does not contain any greenhouse gases such as N20; a dispersion device, having a product entrance that is connectable to the product container for receiving product, the dispersion device further being connectable to the gas container for supplying the gas to the product during product discharge; a processing device downstream of the dispersion device for performing a mixing treatment and/or pressure reduction on the product provided with the gas; and a product dispensing head, being part of a top section of the apparatus and being arranged downstream of the processing device.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a liquid delivery system for storing cleaning liquid and delivering the cleaning liquid to the surface to be cleaned, and an indicator system that is operably coupled with the liquid delivery system to indicate an operational status to the user operating the surface cleaning apparatus. The indicator system can include a light emitter that illuminates when an operational status is detected. The light emitter can illuminate a supply container configured to store cleaning liquid.

Texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound
10046357 · 2018-08-14 · ·

A method of texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound by providing a collapsible bag having an opening at its top and is adapted to contain non-acoustical joint compound for forming a textured coating on the wall or ceiling and providing a spray nozzle having a low pressure input port, a joint compound suction port attached to the opening at the top of the collapsible bag, and an output port for spraying the non-acoustical joint compound. A low pressure stream of air from an air gun attached to the low pressure input port urges a small quantity of the non-acoustical joint compound to be sprayed out of the spray nozzle when the bottom of the collapsible disposable bag is raised above its top to either allow or force the joint compound to flow into the suction port and into the interior of the spray nozzle.

Liquid supply assembly

A connector system for a liquid container system for a spray gun includes a lid that includes a liquid outlet and an adapter. The adapter includes a spray gun end and a lid end. The ends are connected with a liquid-tight passageway. Further, the spray gun end is adapted for releasable engagement with a liquid inlet port of the spray gun and the lid end is adapted for releasable engagement with the liquid outlet. The connector system also includes a plurality of interlocking tab assemblies for releasably attaching the adapter to the lid. Each assembly includes a first tab and a second tab, wherein an end of the first tab is adapted to secure the adapter to the lid when the first tab and the second tab are interlocked.

SPRAY GUN CUPS, RECEPTACLES, AND METHODS OF USE

A spray gun cup receptacle is disclosed comprising an open end for receiving a liner within a cavity and a base end opposite the open end. The base end is positionable with respect to a work surface with the open end facing upwards such that a base plane passing through the base end is parallel to the work surface. A sidewall surrounds the cavity and connects the open end to the base end. The sidewall comprises two apertures through which the cavity is visible from outside the spray gun cup receptacle. The two apertures are divided one above the other by a brace member, at least a portion of which is disposed at a brace member angle relative to the base plane.
