The disclosure herein concerns a method including receiving at a computer at least one target value of a scent parameter for an environment that is remote from the computer, receiving at the computer a sensed parameter of the environment, and controlling, via the computer, diffusion of a liquid from a source of the liquid in fluid communication with at least one scent diffusion device to achieve the target value of the scent parameter, wherein controlling includes setting or adjusting an operation parameter of the at least one scent diffusion device in response to the sensed parameter.

A thermal fogger includes an air-supply system and a chemical injector. The air-supply system includes an air chamber, a pre-heater configured to heat air in the air chamber, and a blower in fluid communication with the air chamber and configured to blow a flow of heated air through an outlet of the air chamber. An atomizing system is provided to connect a liquid supply zone and a gas supply zone. In the atomizing system, a first pipeline is connected between the liquid supply zone and a first treatment tank, a second pipeline is connected between the first treatment tank and a second treatment tank, a third pipeline is connected between the gas supply zone and the second treatment tank. The end of each of the nozzles is connected to the other end of the third pipeline. The liquid supplied from the liquid supply zone is flowed into the second treatment tank through the second pipeline, the gas supplied from the gas supply zone is flowed into the second treatment tank through the nozzles, so that the liquid contacts the gas in the second treatment tank to produce the atomized liquid.

Optical imaging systems and methods are disclosed herein for investigating and analyzing one or more characteristics of a spray, including spray front velocity, spray sheet length, spray break-up dynamics, drift potential, and drop-size distribution. Optical imaging systems disclosed herein include an image acquisition device, one or more illumination source, a processor for processing and analyzing image data, a background, and a spray system that includes at least a nozzle. The image acquisition device and illumination sources are positioned on the same side of the spray. The processor has a first algorithm to generate a feedback correction factor and a second algorithm to identify droplets and develop a drop-size distribution for the spray. Optical imaging methods for determining spray characteristics are also disclosed and generally include the steps of providing an imaging system, capturing images of the spray with the imaging system, processing the images, and analyzing the images.

An exemplary foam-at-a-distance dispenser includes a container for holding a fluid, a housing, a dispensing outlet, a motor and a pump. The pump has two or more air pump diaphragms, a liquid pump diaphragm, a liquid inlet, an inner valve plate, two or more air inlet valves secured to the inner valve plate, a liquid inlet valve secured to the inner valve plate, an outer valve support located outside of the inner valve plate, a liquid outlet valve secured to the outer valve support, an air outlet and a liquid outlet. Also included are motor, a wobble plate, a mixing chamber and a foaming cartridge located between the mixing chamber and the dispensing outlet. A liquid dispensing conduit extends from the liquid outlet to the mixing chamber and an air dispensing conduit extending from the air outlet to the mixing chamber.
