ADJUSTABLE ROW UNIT AND VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE ROW UNIT
An agricultural vehicle comprises a left frame and a right frame. A first leg extends upward from the left frame and a second leg extends upward from the right frame to connect the legs to the beam. One or more satellite navigation receivers are associated with beam to determine a position and an attitude of the beam. In on configuration, at least one row unit suspended from the beam, where each row unit has a respective planting device with an adjustable position in one or more dimensions with respect to the beam for precise application or variable application of seeds within the rows or field.
Thin-film coating apparatus for applying enhanced performance coatings on outdoor substrates
A thin-film coating applicator assembly is disclosed for coating substrates in outdoor applications. The innovative thin-film coating applicator assembly is adapted to apply performance enhancement coatings on installed photovoltaic panels and glass windows in outdoor environments. The coating applicator is adapted to move along a solar panel or glass pane while applicator mechanisms deposit a uniform layer of liquid coating solution to the substrate's surface. The applicator assembly comprises a conveyance means disposed on a frame. Further disclosed are innovative applicator heads that comprise a deformable sponge-like core surrounded by a microporous layer. The structure, when in contact with a substrate surface, deposits a uniform layer of coating solution over a large surface.

ROBOTIC AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A robotic orchard spraying system having an autonomous delivery vehicle (ADV), autonomously delivering an amount of a premixed solution over path, the path identified by a forward-looking sensor. The ADV uses GPS to sense an area containing the path, and LiDAR as the forward-looking sensor. Also, a mobile control center, configured to wirelessly inform the autonomous delivery vehicle of the path within the areas and to confirm that the autonomous delivery vehicle is following the path within the area. Additionally, a mapper vehicle generates the path within the area, the mapper vehicle being configured to communicate information about the path and the area to the command center. The mapper vehicle senses the path with a forward-looking LiDAR sensor, and senses the area with a GPS sensor. Moreover, a nurse truck has a reservoir of premixed solution for replenishing a tank of the ADV.
Device for Automatic Re-Striping of Horizontal Road Markings
A device is provided for automatic re-striping of horizontal road markings and which can be mounted on a vehicle. In one embodiment the device comprises a marker unit with a linear actuator, an electronic control unit electrically connected to the linear actuator, wherein the electronic control unit comprises an electronic gyroscope which can determine an angular speed of the vehicle on curved road sections, and a laser scanner mounted in front of the marker unit. In some embodiments the electronic control unit is configured to calculate and offset, based on the angular speed of the vehicle, for additional deviation of the paint guns from the coordinates of any of the previous marking lines when the vehicle moves on curved road sections.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING PAINT THICKNESS IN PAVEMENT MARKING APPLICATIONS
Presented herein are a system and method (i.e., utilities) for monitoring the flow of materials used to mark road surfaces and other surfaces. The utilities utilize one or more flow meters to monitor individual flow rates of individual spray guns and may also utilize one or more pressure sensors to monitor and control individual flow rates.

ELECTRICALLY ACTUATED VARIABLE PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM
An electrically-actuated variable pressure control system for use with flow-controlled liquid application systems. Direct acting solenoid valves are pulsed at varying frequencies and duty cycles 0000 change the resistance to flow encountered by the flow-controlled liquid application system. This pulsing solenoid valve technique preserves a high degree of accuracy and uniformity through a wide range of pressure control. This wide range of pressure control indirectly allows the flow-controlled liquid application system to operate over a wider range of flow control, yielding indirect benefits to performance and productivity. When the solenoid valves are attached to pressure-atomization spray nozzles, control over spray pattern and droplet size is further achieved.
