Vent valves and refill units with vent valves for use with inverted non-collapsing containers
An exemplary refill unit for a dispenser includes an inverted non-collapsing container for holding a liquid. A pump housing is secured to the bottom of the inverted non-collapsing container. The pump housing includes a pump chamber for pumping fluid out of the inverted non-collapsing container. The pump housing includes an annular venting chamber. The annular venting chamber has a floor with an opening therethrough. A vent valve is located within the venting chamber. The vent valve has a first wiper seal in contact with a wall of the annular venting chamber.
SNAP CAP WITH DEEP PLUG AND SEAL OVERMOLD
In one example, a cap includes a body that has a plug defined by a recess extending downward from an upper surface of the body. The body also includes a skirt disposed circumferentially about the plug such that a gap is defined between an exterior surface of the plug and an inner surface of the skirt. Two or more tongues are connected to the skirt and extend radially inward toward the plug, each of the tongues configured to releasably engage respective corresponding structure of a container. A seal is provided that is disposed about an outer surface of the plug so as to be concentric with the plug, the seal including multiple radially extending circumferential fins.
Dispensing head with pre-compression valve for a trigger dispenser device
A head (10) of a trigger dispensing device (1) for liquids includes a pre-compression valve (104) disposed in the upper region of the head. The valve (104) has an obturator wall (106) that cooperates with a mouth wall (102) to prevent the passage of liquid. The mouth wall (102) includes a sealing section (102a) with which the obturator wall (106) is sealingly engaged to slide during a pre-compression step of the liquid.
MANUAL SQUEEZE BOTTLE APPLICATOR FOR ATOMIZING LIQUIDS
A squeeze bottle, useful for atomizing liquids such as perfumes, medications, insecticides, or the like, by manually squeezing the bottle while orienting the bottle to direct the resulting atomized spray for a desired application. The squeeze bottle utilizes ambient air and contains an inner, compliant pouch for storing a liquid. The pouch is configured so that it deforms by the hydrostatic air pressure generated within the bottle during a squeezing action. This deformation assists in transferring liquid from the pouch into the bottle's spray nozzle where the liquid is atomized in a swirl airflow and dispersed by the expelled ambient air.
Refill Cartridge and System Comprising the Refill Cartridge and a Pump Dispenser
Disclosed is a refill cartridge (10) comprising: a container (12) defining a chamber containing a flowable substance comprising a home or personal care product and having a rim defining an opening through which the product is dispensable from the chamber; wherein a first cross-sectional area of the chamber at a point (P) furthest from the opening is less than 60% of a parallel maximum cross-sectional area of the chamber. The refill cartridge (10) also comprises a seal (14) attached to the container (12) and closing the opening, wherein a first portion of the seal (14) is weaker than a second portion of the seal (14). Also disclosed is a system comprising: the refill cartridge (10) and a pump dispenser (100) with a hollow interior (113) for receiving at least a portion of the refill cartridge (10).
EYE WASHING NOZZLE AND EYE WASHING LIQUID CONTAINER
An eye washing nozzle includes a base portion and a tubular portion and is attached to a container body portion. The base portion is a portion to be fixed to the container body portion. The tubular portion is connected to the base portion. The tubular portion is a portion through which the eye washing liquid passes. The leading end portion of the tubular portion is provided with a discharging port that discharges the eye washing liquid that has passed through the tubular portion.
Angularly adjusted spray nozzle
According to some illustrative embodiments, an angularly adjustable spray nozzle is employed that includes: a base section having a water flow path extending lengthwise there-through; a head section aligned at an end of the base section and rotatably mounted to the base section; wherein a flow path through the base section is inclined at an angle to a flow path through the head section such that when the head section is rotated a predetermined extent relative to the base section, the spray device is moved between a substantially straight configuration of the head section with respect to the base section and an angular configuration of the head section with respect to the base section; wherein the head section includes a rotatable turret assembly having a plurality of selectable spray type discharge ports and a sleeve to which the rotatable turret assembly is mounted, the rotatable turret assembly including labels on a periphery thereof corresponding to respective ones of the selectable spray type discharge ports, and the sleeve having a plurality of windows through which the labels are viewed when aligned; and wherein the spray device is configured such that when the spray device is oriented in a generally horizontal use position a respective one of the labels corresponding to a selected spray type is displayed within a respective one of the windows that is located at a top side of the sleeve whether the spray device is in the substantially straight configuration or in the angular configuration.
Sealant Application Tip
A method and apparatus for applying a sealant to a structure. The method comprises scanning a surface of the structure with a vision system to form scanned data. The method further determines a sealant application path for the structure using the scanned data. The method also controls movement of an application tip along the sealant application path using a controller.
Trigger Sprayer With Bottle Filling Conduit
A fluid delivery device having a trigger actuated sprayer assembly for dispensing a liquid with features such as a bottle with a concavity, a clip around the bottle neck, a sprayer assembly with a bottle filling conduit and a translucent neck window on the sprayer assembly for viewing the bottle filling conduit. The fluid delivery system includes a bottle with a concavity in the side wall attached to a body.
