Food pump with safe outlet valve and outer mounted spring

A food pump is provided with a safe outlet valve and an outer mounted spring. A pressing head, a primary column, a secondary column, a piston, a pump chamber, a spring and a bottle locking cover are also provided. A lock cover for fixing the primary column to the pump chamber is fixed on the pump chamber. An outer side of an upper end of the lock cover is provided with a cover flanging which is turned outwards and then turned downwards to stretch. An inner side of a locking flanging is provided with an inner thread in threaded fit with an outer thread of a lock opening of a lock cover, such that the primary column, the secondary column, the piston, the pump chamber, the spring, a glass bead and the lock cover can be stored and transported independently, thereby matching different pressing heads and bottle locking covers.

A dispenser pump is constituted by a closure body (2), a diaphragm body (3) which forms a pump chamber with the closure body and optionally a top actuator (4) for pressing the diaphragm body (4). The diaphragm body has a deformable wall (35) formed integrally in the same polymer as its annular mounting portion (31). An inlet valve (5) through the floor (21) of the closure body has a flap (52) which is formed and hinged integrally with that floor (21). An outlet valve may also be formed in the same polymer, either integrally with the diaphragm body or as a separate component. The deformable wall of the diaphragm body is shaped to generate a restoring force itself without a separate spring, so that the entire pump may be made from the same polymer e.g. polypropylene and without metal components.

A sealing member (140) is fitted within the buffering channel (120) and provides a movable or slidable seal in the buffering channel (120). Upon expansion of a gas within the liquid reservoir (110) and/or a gaseous component within the liquid, the sealing member (140) moves within the buffering channel (120) to increase the effective volume of the liquid reservoir (110) and compensate for the change in pressure. Over-pressure and under-pressure conditions in the liquid reservoir are reduced or avoided.
