Methods of treatment of viral diseases
The present invention provides for a method for the treatment of a viral disease, disorder or condition in a subject, the method comprising the step of administering to said subject a medically active liquid in nebulized form by inhalation, wherein the medically active liquid comprises remdesivir or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and wherein the medically active liquid is administered in nebulized form using an inhalation device.
PUMP APPARATUS
A pump apparatus can include a suction tube, a pliable sealing ring, and an actuator mechanism coupled to the suction tube. The suction tube can be configured to be removably coupled to a container in which the viscous fluid is arranged and be fluidly coupled to an interior of the container and to an output port for outputting the viscous fluid. The pliable sealing ring can be configured to sealingly engage with an interior wall of the container. When the suction tube is coupled to the container and the pliable sealing ring is sealingly engaged with the interior wall of the container, actuating the actuator mechanism can cause the viscous fluid to be suctioned upwardly through the suction tube and output from the output port, ambient air to be drawn into the container, and the pliable sealing ring to move downwardly.
PUMP APPARATUS
A pump apparatus for a viscous fluid that can include a container in which the viscous fluid is arranged, and a cap configured to be removably coupled to the container. A sealing plate can be sealingly engaged with an interior wall of the container and arranged above the viscous fluid. A stabilizer can be arranged within the container and define a second suction tube aperture. A suction tube can be configured to extend through the first and second suction tube apertures. An actuator mechanism can be coupled to the suction tube. When the suction tube is arranged in an interior of the container, actuating the actuator mechanism can cause: the viscous fluid to be suctioned upwardly through the suction tube and output from an output port, and the sealing plate to move downwardly.
Fluid substance dispensing device
A device for dispensing a fluid substance (F) comprising a manually operated pump (2) coupled to a deformable bag (3), the deformable bag being housed inside a container (4); the container (4) is formed of a collar (5) made of plastic material snap-coupled to a tubular element (6) formed from a paper or cardboard-based material.
Fluid management for vibrating perforate membrane spray systems
A droplet generation device comprising a reservoir split into at least two regions by a substantially liquid impermeable barrier, a perforate membrane connecting one of said regions, containing, in use, the liquid to be dispensed, to the atmosphere, such that vibration of the membrane causes the liquid to be ejected through the perforate membrane into the atmosphere, and a pressure control system consisting of one or more valves in which at least one valve vents gas into the reservoir in response to a pressure difference, ΔP.sub.in, across it that is less than zero, and at least one valve is connected to a non-liquid-containing region of the reservoir and vents gas out of the reservoir in response to a pressure difference, ΔP.sub.out, across it that is greater than ΔP.sub.in, where ΔP.sub.in and ΔP.sub.out are the absolute pressure of the gas in the reservoir minus the absolute atmospheric pressure outside of the reservoir.
Depressible thermal tips
A dispenser includes a depressible thermal tip and a housing having a reservoir for containing a product, such as a cosmetic product or a medicinal product. The depressible thermal tip comprises a thermal applicator displaceable between open and closed positions. The thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing, or the thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a button depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing.
PRODUCT DISPENSING DEVICE COMPRISING A REFILL OR MODULE
A device for dispensing a product includes: a module including a head and a reservoir, the head including a conduit connecting the inside of the reservoir to an outlet of the head; and a housing having at least two mutually movable parts including an upper part and a lower part, the at least two parts being arranged to be assembled so as to receive the module inside the housing.
Nebulizer
A nebulizer for nebulizing a liquid from a container is proposed. The nebulizer comprises a liquid pump for withdrawing the liquid in doses from the container and pressurizing the respective doses for nebulization. The nebulizer comprises in addition an air pump for temporarily pressurizing the liquid in the container to help withdrawing the liquid from a collapsible bag in the container.
DISPENSER DEVICE WITHOUT AIR INTAKE FOR APPLICATOR NOZZLES FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF FLEXIBLE PACKAGING
DISPENSER DEVICE WITHOUT AIR INTAKE FOR NOZZLES FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF FLEXIBLE PACKAGING, with an outlet chamber (1) that is hermetically controlled by a plug (2), an elastomeric valve (3) and an elastic pad (18); the vertical outlet chamber (1) is defined by a cylindrical capsule (4) and any nozzle (5) together with an internal elastomeric mass (6); the lower capsule (4) has a sealing seat (7) housing the plug (2), which works jointly with an elastic pad (18), so that between it and the lower capsule (4) a passage is formed for the product to be dispensed; the lower capsule (4) and the nozzle (5) are combined with variable parts (8a) and (8b) coupling with the nozzle (9) of any flexible container (10); the plug (2) is housed in the sealing seat (7) with enough clearance to be moved up and down when internal pressure occurs or ceases inside the flexible container (10) and allows the product to pass through the sealing seat (7) or to close it tightly; the elastomeric valve (3) has an elastic opening point (11) designed to open and close when the pressure inside the flexible container is interrupted or present (10).
Delaminatable container
The delaminatable container is capable of suppressing deterioration of the contents under high-temperature environment. The delaminatable container includes a container body; and a tubular outer case being installed in the container body; wherein: the container body includes an outer shell and an inner bag, and the inner bag shrinks as contents decrease.
